    One of the pharmacists phoned me, as arranged yesterday morning. Briefly he was extremely helpful, didn't try to rush me and answered all my questions fully and clearly. He undertook to chase something up for me and I have every confidence he will have followed through. Overall a very positive exercise. He has excellent communication skills.

    Sought an appointment online at 8am. Reply within 10 mins for a same day appointment. Top class consultation with a friendly and good humoured GP.

    Had an appointment yesterday and the doctor was amazing. He listened intently to everything I had to say and was very helpful in every way. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

    I have received a number of calls from the pharmacy at the practice. This has been to review how my medication was dealing with my medical problems. The calls have been very reassuring and the pharmacist has really listened to my concerns and made positive suggestions about my treatment.

    A recent medication review was conducted as scheduled. The practitioner was reassuring and very helpful. I had several questions which were fully answered and the guidance was very helpful.

    I had GP appointment yesterday about an issue with medication. The GP showed their expertise, discussed the concerns, and came to a sensible conclusion. It is good to be listened to.

    The clinical pharmacist was easy to talk with and addressed my concerns about one of my medications; he provided an alternative drug and advised me that others were available should the need arise. We also discussed the dose of my calcium and Vitamin D supplements which was helpful. His manner was professional, knowledgeable and patient centred. The review was arranged for an afternoon between 2.00 and 6.00 which is rather restricting, but nearer the date a text was sent with an approximate time. I think it would be helpful if a time could be arranged when the appointment is made, or, if this is not possible, that patients be informed that a time will be sent nearer the date. This could allow patients to manage their time - which is valuable to them.

    I understand that the front facing staff are the first point of contact for the surgery and therefore, recieve the bulk of any ire that comes through the door, but, I have to criticise how they handle the front desk. I understand jobs like theirs are often underpaid and overworked, and it's difficult to act with passion under those circumstances. However, the way I was handled on entry was a bit jarring. I was not "recieved" at all. It wasn't clear I was even at the reception. Just completely blanked by the staff on arrival, I try to tilt my head and get someone's eye contact and I get something like "just wait there, we will be with you soon" in a pretty grumpy tone, like I'm the inconvenience. It's quite clear the reception staff have a script they are running (which is fine) with the robotic "hi, can I help?" that eventually arrived, I just don't understand why "hi there, bear with me I'll be with you soon" isn't a part of the script. There's no queuing system so you're just stood there like a lemon in the small reception area lording over some people tapping away at computers not paying a blind bit of notice to you. It's rude! It ultimately doesn't matter, I'm assuming the reception staff aren't paid enough to care about everyone that walks through the door, my point is that it was a flaw what was an incredibly caring and thorough experience by the medical staff. That's my honest feedback. Maybe pay your admin staff a bit more and give them less work, because clearly they aren't having fun down there...
