Very good surgery wheh ever I call for a appointment in the mornings get seen same day sometimes all I have to do is call and tel them what I need and the doctor understands my needs and easy to get the medication I need for any thing I have

I have nothing but praise for the way First care practice takes care of their patients. We have joined this practice in June 2022 and until date they have always exceeded my expectations. I am a heart patient with a lot of complications but they always make time to clarify any inquiries that may arise due to my situation. I would recommend them to anyone in the area looking for practice. I believe the employees are so hospitable and accommodating is because they management are courteous and take care of them. I wish them continued success for the future.

I have been with this practice for about 5 years now and have always been treated fairly and with lots of respect this is the best practice I have ever been with the staff are so attentive and caring and nothing is to much trouble from the reception area right through to the gp keep up the good work use are very professional and amazing at what use do

The services provided are not bad, responsive and helpful. However, the booking procedure does not meet patients' expectations. The only way to book an appointment is by calling the practice between 8 am and 10 am in the morning, which often results in long waiting times of up to 25 callers in a queue. It can take more than 2 hours just to request an appointment, and then patients are advised that a doctor will call them back later, so they must keep themselves available to answer the call. This process is a waste of time. Although the practice answers calls throughout the day, they only advise callers to call back between 8-10 the next day. An online booking system would be more convenient and transparent. I have tried to call in the morning several times but decided to give up due to long waiting periods.

Dear patient, Many thanks for leaving your feedback which is so important and useful to us. At the moment, the vast majority of our patients receive direct advice from a clinician, or a face to face appointment if appropriate, if they call between 8 and 10am. We can have upwards of 300 calls daily during that period, but we do our best to provide access to our clinicians on the same day through this process. We do also have an online messaging system is generally found to be very efficient and if a patient clearly requires an urgent appointment we try our best to accommodate. However we are aware that waits can be too long in the morning as demand is so high, so we are working on alternative solutions that give the best and quickest access to the largest number of patients. Good practice and attentive staff. They frequently ask for feedback via surveys. Id appreciate if the repeat prescription time was extended to all day and perhaps for mornings into Saturday. The current limit of weekdays and only between 8-10 is feels like limited option. Otherwise all good so far

Many thanks for your feedback - we do often ask for feedback through surveys as it's so valuable to us to hear what our patients think so we can improve our services. Did you know that you can request your prescription online through your online account? That can be done any time of the day, so you may find it more convenient. Prescriptions may take 2 working days to come through if you request online. Phoning between 8-10 will be quicker as a clinician approves the request there and then. I requested a doctor appointment. But they called me on phone and gave prescription. It is very bad service that a patient cannot see the doctor directly and discuss about the situation. Last 2 years. I have very bad experience from NHS.
