I recently had the pleasure of visiting Goodman's Fields Medical Practice, and I must say that the service and behavior exhibited by the entire team were nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by the warm and friendly receptionists who made me feel instantly at ease. Their professionalism and genuine care were evident, setting a positive tone for my entire visit. The doctors at Goodmanfield Health Centre are truly remarkable. They take the time to listen attentively, ensuring that all concerns are thoroughly addressed. Their compassionate approach and extensive knowledge instill a deep sense of trust and confidence. I felt valued as a patient, and it was clear that my well-being was their top priority. Every staff member I encountered was amicable and welcoming, contributing to a comfortable and reassuring environment. The level of care and attention to detail provided at Goodmanfield Health Centre far exceeds expectations. It is rare to find such a cohesive team dedicated to delivering outstanding healthcare services. In all honesty, the experience I had at Goodmanfield Health Centre was more than five-star. Review titled Extremely inefficient system to make advanced appointments

Very bad system for a person who works full time wanting to make an advanced non emergency appointment to get bloods done. I need to arrange cover in advance for my job to get out of work making this system impossible for me to do that. Goodmans system now is only on the day appointments. I have to make an appointment for a doctor to call me back to clear that’s it’s ok to make an appointment to get my bloods done, not on a day that suits me with forward planning. This system is extremely frustrating and unhelpful.

Impossible to get appointments . Staff not helpful at all . I am pregnant and have medical condition that needs repeat blood test and repeat prediction but instead of them contacting me I need to chase them . And remind them about test due . And even tho it’s impossible to get appointment with them face to face . Very disappointed and changeing practice today .

Hi, Simona, we are sorry to hear that you have difficulty booking appointments in our surgery. We also offer Dr iQ online consultations, where a clinician will respond to you on the day. We offer out of hours appointments, 2 weeks in advance appointments and Saturday appointments, all subject to availability. We are sorry you felt that you needed to chase the surgery to repeat a blood test, we will take this as feedback to our admin meetings to implement changes and improve our services. As a diabetic they are supposed to monitor me my last nurse visit was completely pointless the go visit suggestion was to monitor my issues with neuropathy myself ! Or go to a&e they never have online consultations even if you are standing in the actual centre ! No results from my blood test so now looking to change ! However during Ramadan they offered me guidance !!! But not at Christmas

I had a blood test to check my thyroid. I went to the surgery, I did the blood test and they call me after one week to tell me that they lost the specimen and that I have to do it again. Just like that. No apologies, nothing. This is not professional at all.

We are sorry that on this occasion the pathology department lost the specimen samples, unfortunately we can only inform patients to repeat blood tests if this is the case as we do not directly handle samples. I requested a copy of my medical records to share with my employer. I found the staff at the practice sensitive to my needs and the requirements. They were fast and diligent producing the reports. Thank you for a good customer service. It is greatly appreciated.

I made a flu jab appointment. After getting time off work, putting my child into childcare was waiting 40 minutes, I went to the reception to ask what is find on. I was told that they are ‘still looking for someone to give me a jab’. For 40 minutes at a medical centre with prior appointment they are looking for someone to give me a jab?? Unbelievable. I am now transferring to another practice. These people are dangerously disorganised.

At this moment the surgery in general is in my opinion providing the best services me and my family have been receiving I would especially thank the reception staff whom deserve a lot of praise as unfair reviews often get highlighted is wrong staff at reception and GP including all clinicians working very hard I’m a very demanding area

When we were first added to this practice, we quickly learnt that if you wanted an appointment, you had to phone at exactly 8am, wait in a queue for half an hour, and you would probably get an appointment on the day. If you phoned at 8.05, however, you would almost certainly not get an appointment. That was bad enough, but nowadays when you phone at 8am, you don't get through. At first I thought this might be an occassional occurence, but this is now the fourth or fifth time I've phoned at exactly 8am and not even been able to join the queue. So I phoned at 10am, got put into a queue, and selected the callback option. At almost 1pm, I still hadn't got a callback, and so I phoned again. After waiting for 20 minutes, I finally spoke to somebody who, of course, couldn't give me an appointment on the day. Instead, they gave me an appointment in five days time. Which is better than nothing, I suppose, but it means I'm thinking of going to A&E, overburdening my already overburdened local hospital.
