A prescription could not be filled by chemist so they offered an alternative but had to get it verified by the surgery approx 2 weeks later the reply was no to the alternative and given a different tablet and was in formed if I wanted my normal prescription which I have had for over 14 years I had to buy over the counter,this is the 3rd time I have been told to buy over the counter,I am on disability benefits and qualify for free prescriptions.this surgery used to be efficient ,but now it's a complete mess,appointments,records and medication,so sad to see this,no one to discuss your problems with,you are totally ignored.

Thank you for your feedback. When clinicians make decisions on the medication being issued they do not take into account whether a patient is on disability benefits, we follow strict guidelines on the medication that can and cannot be prescribed and this can effect all patients whether on benefits or not. We are sorry that you feel the surgery is a complete "mess" but will continue to listen to patients and make changes where possible.

I’ve done an e consult 2weeks ago ,I received a text saying they received it and would be getting back to me,but nothing so contacted them and was told that dr had sent me an email ,I haven’t got one,so asked if it could be sent by text but was told it was too much to go in a text so could I go to surgery and get a print out ,but they didn’t know how to do it ,and would sort it out and contact me ,still nothing , I am suffering with hot flushes ,agitation,and several other things ,so having to wait this long isn’t helping me ,I feel that if I’d been given an appointment at the beginning I could of been given a prescription,and my problems could be sorted instead it’s taken 2weeks plus and i feel desperate ,there is no patient care any more and I’m still not sorted x

Thank you for your feedback. The receptionist should have been able to print the email straight from your record, we will follow this up with the relevant receptionist to ensure they can in the future. I will share your comments with the team and we will make changes where possible.
