I had the above appointment today and have to state what a pleasant appointment I found it to be very informative and felt less rushed I was even asked whether I had any questions about the treatment or medication. The Practitioner was very knowledgeable and professional. I had a really nice appointment today.

I had my blood pressure review today with at cator medical practice in Beckenham beacon . The pharmacist explained everything with detail . He was very patient with me when I bombarded him with questions and answered them all.

I’ve Been suffering extreme menopausal ho flushing for the past 15 years. It was every 10 minutes lasting just as long. Dripping on floors, wet clothes and bedding it was depressing. My doctor found me a remedy that works so well I hardly have flushes now. Im sooo grateful for this doctor. Thank you Cator your staff are exceptional.

I have been experiencing problems with my blood pressure medication. Today I had a scheduled telephone call from a member of the blood pressure team. As ever the service was exemplary and I have tremendous confidence in them. Well done

I had a telephone appraisal for my blood pressure hypertension clinic today and the clinician was very kind, helpful and patient. He explained everything very well and was very personable. He made the experience very clear and easy. Thank you!

I attended yesterday and was seen in hypertension clinic. As usual I was very impressed with this clinician and yesterday he was accompanied by a pharmacy technician who was also excellent. I felt I had her full attention and she came up with some excellent ideas. Well done!

I registered with Cator Medical Centre a few of weeks ago using their online form. As we’ve just moved to the area and I am pregnant and close to my due date it was important this was done quickly. I noted my pregnancy on the application form. Having not heard from them, but having heard from my previous G P that my notes had been transferred, I called today to find out if I had been registered or not. I was told (a) I had not been registered with their practice, but with a different practice (Elm House) that the N H S website confirms I am not in the catchment area for and which I did not ask to be registered with and (b) they have no system either at Cator or Elm House for informing new patients that they are registered. The receptionist seemed baffled as to why they should inform patients of this information, and told me I cannot shift to be registered with Cator, even though their website and the NHS GP finder both say they are still open to new patients, and that is where I wanted to be registered in the first place. This is despite NHS guidance stating that if a G P surgery refuses to register you, they are required to write to you informing you why, and that refusal should only be on grounds that do not apply here (e.g. being removed from a surgery list before, the surgery not being open to new patients, or not being in the catchment area). As a result of this lack of communication I have missed the opportunity to have an important vaccination (R S V) before my due date. The practice can and should do better.

I had a fantastic experience. We discussed objectives and strategies for lowering my hypertension. The medical professional's advice and guidance was exceptionally informative and I intend to put these suggestions into practise. I could tell that the medical professional genuinely cares about his patients, a fantastic touch!
