I spoke to the receptionist regarding some blood test results. Although the receptionist was not clinically trained she was so helpful and positive with me. She was calm and friendly and gave me the impression it was not too much trouble to her explaining things and making sure l understood. I am very grateful to have spoken to someone with such a nice attitude to patients.

This surgery has always been amazing with me, I always feel looked after. Every one of the staff cant do enough for you. They're always so pleasant, I have never ever had a bad experience and I've been going many years now. Thank you

I have to order medical equipment from a private supplier and they email the surgery for an electronic prescription, something that should be very easy and quick to do. On two out of three occasions I have been forced to chase up the surgery when they still have not sent it more that a week after being requested which is totally unacceptable.

Getting an appointment at this GP is impossible. Originally completed their online form only to keep missing callbacks during my work day. Tried calling but the phone line always has "more than 30" in the queue. Tried to go in person for the receptionist to tell me I have to complete the online form and cannot book through her. For some bizarre reason the online form is only available 8am-12noon, so told I have to wait until it is back on. The online form is then "triaged" and someone rings you at an arbitrary time in the week following. Not sure who is triaging the forms but I received a call from an ENT nurse for my issue which was totally unrelated, who was clearly as annoyed as me at having her time wasted. She ended up booking am appointment for me - weird that she can but the receptionist can't. When I finally get to see someone the approach is "wait and hope it gets better but call us if it doesn't". I can't call you, the phone isn't answered and the receptionist just tells me to use the online form which sends me to the wrong person...

My child had a new medical issue that was causing him pain and distress, the practice quickly prescribed him medication that has made such a difference to him. The whole team were so quick and efficient in helping us.

Tried to contact you on several matters of my health situation and can’t get through due to web site being down for whatever reason. Telephone being a queue of over 30 people. Leaving a ring back only to receive a text that ring back as been cancelled. Tried again today only to find web site down again. How do we get through to you? Carlton surgery tells me to deal with selby

This practice used to be excellent. They introduced systems that made it difficult to get help and treatment. I think that they have taken on board comments about the difficulties experienced by patients and have made changes which have much improved the service. I hope that they continue to improve practice in the future. Well done Beech Tree Surgery.

Absolutely shocking service, receptionists are outright rude and ignorant, do not have a care in the world. Hang up whilst still talking to discuss issues. Waited over a week for a call back, which u had to chase to be told you’ll get an appointment in 3 weeks time. When it states online 3 days, so they don’t follow their own procedure. Don’t ask when I’m available just book an appointment and expect me to attend when the appointment is 3 weeks away. They have no consideration for how you feel or how your health is affecting your mental health. Absolute joke of a surgery, I will be moving surgeries asap

This Surgery has really gone downhill since Covid. Their online booking is terrible and older people won’t understand it, plus it only works half days!! The phone system is worse. You literally cannot get through and are told basically don’t call unless you’re dying! We used to have a GP at Riccall but that’s now a thing of the past. You can be stood at the desk asking to see a GP and told to use the online system. How stupid is that? You’re in the doctors and can’t actually book! This Surgery is failing its patients just on trying to book alone. Terrible terrible experience and very stressful.

Contacted by the NHS for a check up, had ten day's to make an appointment via the link they sent, every time I tried on the link it came back as no appointments, tried to also make an appointment on the booking online system to no avail. Following a recent chest infection I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment, I understand the practice as well as many others are struggling but this is well below par. Going to sign up at the local vet as I have been assured that I will be seen a lot quicker.
