    Very good. The service works well because if you cannot get a face to face appointment on the day you will always get a telephone call. I have had a recurring problem and have had to contact the surgery a few times

    Received a steroid injection in my knee, the doctor was extremely professional and carried it out with care and consideration, I felt no pain. I am very satisfied with the procedure.

    I was pleasantly surprised that I had an appointment booked on the afternoon of the same day I called and appointments for tests were all arranged for me on the day, I felt I was listened to and the staff were helpful and understanding.

    I felt the poor nurse must have been under a lot of time pressure because she rushed through the review. I said to her that since I had had my deep brain stimulator implant that I wasn't sure but i thought i might be experiencing some occasional tightness in the chest. I did not say I was experiencing sob. In fact before I next saw my parkinsons consultant I had lost this tightness and it occurred to me that the tightness had been in the area of my implant (just below the collar bone) So I wonder whether the tightness was to do with them cutting into the muscle to insert the implant. But the nurse was too busy to ask questions like where was the implant put? The other thing was that the review says I am teetotal but I have never said that and I have never been teatotal.

    Had to register for my husband - everyone was very helpful and the admin staff were very quick to get back to me with the info I needed so it was a very smooth process. Also had to book in for an appointment myself and that too was easy and quick.

    I completed an online e-consult to discuss some concerns regarding my son. Very quick response to this via text message. I got to pick an appointment at a time that suited me, around work. When seeing the GP he was very friendly and professional. Ran on time. Completed a very thorough assessment with fantastic advice and explanation of the next steps. Very impressed!

    Receptionist refused to put us through to a GP in order for emergency antibiotics to be prescribed. Despite being told by district nurse that it was urgently required. Receptionist told us to ring 111. We spoke to them, and they advised that GP would have to deal with the problem. So rang Bchc back again and were refused service despite 111 instructions. All of this is happening after Bchc misplaced a sample 2 weeks ago that would have confirmed the infection at that time. Doctors themselves are great, shame that it is impossible to get through the call centre to actually speak to them.

    I do not contact the surgery regularly but had a situation today requiring me to do so. It did take a while to get through (I was unable to the day before) but once I was through the service was very good. I was offered an on the day appointment, which I attended. The receptionist was lovely, and made me feel comfortable. The GP was caring, did a thorough examination and explained everything clearly. I left with an understanding of the issues I have and what I can do to alleviate them. I was given medication and strategies to deal with the symptoms and an indication of how long this may take. The surgery does get a lot of negative comments (not always justified) but when I needed the help, I got it - so thank you to all involved.
