    I called Axbridge Surgery yesterday and I have a fear of doctors and dentist but the receptionist was so efficient but polite and caring that I was comfortable and calm. In fact every time I’ve called the surgery I get this really nice great if and efficiency is second to none. Thank you whoever answers the phones you are excellent!!!

    Visit with nurse regarding blood sugar. All very efficient and also advised how to monitor results on the NHS app which was useful.

    Had a misunderstanding appointment time but this was dealt with without fuss. The clinician I saw was very professional and understanding and polite at the same time. Explained to me my options and how to decide which route to take

    As ever, my experience of visiting the surgery was a pleasure. Booking the appointment was easy, the staff at reception could not have been more pleasant, the nurse who dealt with me was also fantastic. So efficient, no time waiting for my appointment, I would like to think me being on time helped!

    I received immediate care & attention from the care coordinator at the Axbridge surgery. She asked me to click the link given in response to a potential doctor’s appointment in February. I really needed it sooner & ended up getting a call from the doctor yesterday; I was relieved & pleased. I felt listened to & was delighted with this quick, efficient method of communication.

    I rang the surgery to request an appointment as I was suffering with extreme anxiety. The receptionist had a calm, gentle manner which made me feel comfortable about explaining my situation. On the same day I received a call from a member of staff. They were very thorough and asked me lots of questions to clarify what I was experiencing. They allowed me to talk even though I was not particularly coherent at times due to my emotional state. They clearly explained my options and allowed me to decide what I would like to do. They were very empathetic. They referred me for support. They arranged a date and time to ring me back to review. Immediately after the call they texted links to resources. I self referred to Silver Cloud and started an online CBT course which I have found extremely helpful. I have been allocated a supporter who will review and respond to my input to the course. The practice member of staff rang me 3 weeks after the first phone call. They spent a lot of time asking me questions to establish how I was doing. They were very encouraging and asked if I would like a follow up phone call in month. I am so grateful for the prompt, sympathetic and effective intervention by the surgery. I was suffering extreme mental anguish when I contacted the surgery but thanks to their support I have been able to access resources which are helping me to deal with my mental health challenges. I feel understood, supported and cared for. The swift response stopped my mental health difficulties from escalating into something more serious,
