Lovely practice and reception staff are fantastic and friendly. I’d just like the dentists to read up on type 1 diabetes. Every check up I take my daughter to I am always told the same thing, less sugar. Obviously being type 1 that’s completely impossible to cut out, sugar saves her life and I think they just think well it’s our fault for not managing it correctly. If they were trained or better educated on it, they’d realise even the weather can affect blood glucose levels! Today was quite a hostile appointment and I’d like future ones to be treated with more compassion. They don’t ask to be type 1.

Recently had to attend an emergency appointment as my bridge had fallen out after thirty years! Saw my dentist within three hours, very impressed, thankyou! Have been attending this practice since it first opened a few years ago, always pleasant polite staff. Hope they never close!

Having an arthritis flair up I phoned Monday regarding my check-up appointment Friday, concerned I could not get up the stairs to where my appointment usually is. I was offered another appointment in a downstairs room for the same day as my original appointment. In arrival u was treated quickly and everyone was friendly and smiling. The examination was thorough and efficient and the dentist talked me through clearly any issues. They confirmed when I would next need to be seen. I was seen quickly for payment and booking of my next appointment. Thorough, efficient and feiendly in all aspects. In and out in 15 mins flat from walking through the doors and did not see one staff member without a smile. Pleasure to attend.

I had to have 2 extractions and being a nervous patient was very anxious. I was put at ease by the dentist who quickly and painlessly removed the offending teeth. I would not hesitate to use this dental surgery again

I rang and was given a cancellation. The female dentist and her assistant took time to understand my symptoms and my nervousness. After an examination, it was decided to remove a decayed wisdom tooth which the dentist did really gently ( obviously there was force used) the dentist was smashing, explained everything and answered all of my questions. I thank the team at Smiles for once again helping me overcome my fear of dentists. Enormous gratitude.
