The dentist was warm and friendly. Spoke to me clearly about what he was doing and what work needed doing. Told me about good dental hygiene and brushing. I didn't have to wait very long before I was seen, always usually on time with seeing me.

I have been visiting this practice for about fifteen years, and have generally found them helpful and efficient, particularly at the beginning this period, and again more recently. The reason for this is that for quite a long time when I was first a patient I was treated by one (excellent) dentist, and again, more recently, I have been seen by one dentist, who has also been extremely good. I like the fact that I am sent text messages to remind me of my appointment, and which give me the opportunity to fill in forms online. The reception staff are generally good - polite, although they seem to change quite frequently. Waiting times have improved and are not excessive. The waiting room is bright and reasonably comfortable.

Very prompt appointment. A very friendly dentist and straightforward appointment as well! I am pleased to have an nhs dentist!

My appointment was a check up. I felt I was listened to and given a very thorough check up. Things were explained very well and I was very pleased with the service. Thank you.

Recently had root treatment and crown performed through the NHS. Even though the procedure was drawn out over 4 appointments explanations given throughout. Experienced no pain at all.

My one issue is that the dentist and hygienist I visit are situated on the first floor which means I have to go up a set of stairs, climbing stairs these days can be difficult as can standing for any length of time, when you get to the first floor there are just two seats - there is no room for anymore - so the last time I visited I ended up sitting at the top of the stairs, not sure how this can be addressed, I could have asked if one of the people sitting would mind giving up their seat but they too might have found it difficult to stand for too long. Yes, I could ask to be seen downstairs but I don’t want to change my dentist or hygienist. Last thing I would like to add, I feel they don’t do unnecessary dental work which I believe I might have had in the past at other surgeries. The latest visit I had went smoothly with the only issue of having nowhere to sit when I got upstairs.

I am always placed at ease with my dentist. he really is an asset to the practice! I was worried about a loose crown which appeared ok on x ray, however it did come loose at end of day and I was able to return the following morning and get it sorted.

The dentist was obliged to cancel the appointment twice for the INR test was outside the target limits. On the third application with an acceptable INR result the extraction was executed at short notice. It was entirely without discomfort, the sutures avoided any significant bleeding and the wound healed very quickly - couldn't be better. I have requested my due appointment to see the hygienist but am still awaiting an answer.
