Very friendly and efficient staff. I am quite a nervous dental patient and I was put completely at my ease and suffered no discomfort at all

My son who is a child recently had to have a tooth removed. The dentist he saw was amazing explained everything throughly making sure he understood what was going to happen. She made sure he was ok throughout the procedure and was so kind and caring making him feel at ease! She spoke to him rather than me as a parent which is so important! My son came out of his appointment and said he liked his dentist and had a positive experience despite having a not very pleasant procedure for a child. I would totally recommend this dentist

Always so helpful and never had a problem getting an appointment. All the dentist I have been allocated have been very lovely as im a bit of a baby when it comes to dentists

As a nervous patient, I can not reccomended Dentalcare Hook highly enough. My dentist takes the time to fully explain what he will do, which helps to settle my nerves. He constantly checks I am OK and reassures me throughout my appointment. The receptionists are always polite and helpful. This is an excellent dental practice.

Regular check up. Timely reminders, necessary forms completed online prior to visit. Reception polite and efficient. Seen at appointed time. Friendly care and encouraging advice. Reception made next six month appointment with printed card. In and out in eight minutes. Could not be better. Immediate Email received confirming appointment . So no treatment but have in the past and always been pleased with the result.

Have been with the Practice for 5 years or so. Have only had to have one filling and pleased with the dentist's work. Have had regular 6 months checkups. Pleasant waiting room and very friendly staff. My only negative would be that the dentist spends very little time on the checkup as Dentist's used to do years ago. I appreciate you can see a Hygienist for a full clean and polish but I thought that the payment for an NHS checkup did include a quick scaling. I was just referred to the Hygienist which is costly.

Dear patient, Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you are pleased with the practice on the whole. An NHS band 1 payment does include a scale and polish if clinically necessary. In most cases patients are referred to the hygienist upon recommendation which is a more thorough clean. Being a busy NHS dental practice our examination appointments are shorter as to treat as many patients as possible, but the mouth is still thoroughly checked in this time and x-rays taken when required.
