I had a very positive experience with the hygienist who informed me I should have a dental appointment due to a lump in my mouth. The wonderful receptionist was able to book me in for later that same day. They’re a reliable friendly practice.

My dentist is always extremely friendly. She performs routine checks throughly and follows up any concerns with diagnostics. The practice is a clean and welcoming space and reception staff are also friendly and attentive.

I have been coming here for 5 years because my dentist has been fantastic over the years. I have moved to a different area but still travel back because I trust his advice and his procedure. Would highly recommend the whole team.

I find the appointment reminders very helpful and in most cases I get seen at the booked time. My dentist and hygienist are both friendly, careful and extremely good.

Getting an appointment is difficult but made more difficult by telephone staff who do not recognise what an emergency is and even give false information regarding opening times. It took three calls that went nowhere before I eventually spoke to the manager and got an emergency appointment. Visit to the hygienist felt rushed (in and out in 12 minutes). Was given no advice about cleaning my teeth or how to treat my bleeding gums - just told to come back if the dentist advised. Felt like I was on a conveyor belt and treated indifferently.

I signed up for an NHS dental service because I thought it would be cheaper than going elsewhere. When I was sitting in the dentist's chair awaiting a filling, the dentist laid out my filling options which ranged from circa £65 to several hundreds. It was implied that the more expensive fillings were somehow "better", but without giving me any time to ask questions or contemplate, he applied the local anaesthetic because "no matter which option you choose we need to do this". With my objects in my mouth and unanswered questions stuck in my mind, under duress I was now forced to make a quick decision as to which one I wanted. I went for the middle option, which turned out to be £175; far more than I can afford being unemployed 8 months and now on job seekers' allowance. Pressuring someone to make an expensive decisions in a few seconds is very distressing and caused me to make a costly mistake.

the team is efficient, the dentist always explains the reasons why and is not out to do unnecessary work. Everybody is kind, and the practice run well, no waiting times really.
