  1. Review titled My experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The dentist was kind and considerate - I advised I was scared of dentists but she made me feel at ease. The injection was pain free and seeing me at such short notice was very welcomed.

My visit was excellent. I was treated with a very professional and caring dentist who took time to put me at ease, explained the procedure First class.

Professionalism and customer service of the Dentist. Equipment however leaves a lot to be desired as there was very little suction available and everything is very old. I had to hold the xray gun in place. Spend some money and update everything.

  4. Review titled Awful service\appointments always cancelled

Rated 1 star out of 5

I would never recommend this practice to a single person. Myself and my family have attended the practice for a few years now and at the beginning they were attentive and were really helpful and appointments were always available, but over the past two or so years getting an appointment to see a Dentist or Hygienist is near on impossible. I have had my family 6 month check ups cancelled again this week for the 4th time in a row since April 2021, I never receive a courtesy call from the practice to explain as to why the appointments are cancelled and to re-book you in for another appointment. All I receive is a text message stating it has been cancelled and to contact the practice to re-book. Well that is another problem, the phone is never answered so you cannot get through to re-book via telephone. I have been in to the practice in person to not be dealt with in a very assisting manner just to be told I have to wait till November 2023 to be seen. I just felt like the staff are not very helpful and do not even try to help current patients with other days and times considering the amount of time some patients have already had to wait.

  5. Review titled Unpleasant experience

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Previously good service but the dentists now keep changing. Appts cancelled and today I was hardly able to understand the dentist I saw. A student dental nurse was present and the experience was not pleasant I was poked on the nose by some sort of shield. The other dental nurse was no help apart from almost shouting instructions and the dentist just said “I did tell you there was a student nurse present”. When I tried to wipe away water running down my neck from the spray I was told to keep still and move my hands. I was made to feel a nuisance and would not recommend this practice.

  6. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Today I visited for a dental check up and hygienist appointment. I was met by two lovely professional members of staff at reception. Then went to my dental appointment. Here I met an excellent team of dentist and nursing side. This was the best dentist I have been to at this practice. She made feel like a human being not a number, was full of information, and it was the most easier relaxed time spent while being in the dentist chair. Her team were excellent down to earth professional making it a wonderful time together. I then was given ongoing plans thoughts ideas to aid my upkeep of the teeth being in my 60 years as well as gum upkeep. I then went on to the hygienist again a very good member of staff full of information especially regarding teeth and gums as we age. Professional all the way and again a relaxing time spent there. In all dentist hygienist and their teams along with reception staff were excellent great customer service and it was nice this time not to get the bill to be paid until after the treatment unlike before.

  7. Review titled Ridiculous

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been a patient at this practice for years. But I have not had a single check-up in almost 2 years, as everytime it gets near to my appointment, they cancel it. 6 times I have had my appointment cancelled in the past year and a half - and instead of calling to let me know why, they just fire a cancellation message via text and email, saying you should contact them to rearrange. And of course half the time you can not get through on the phone to rearrange it. I've had appointments cancelled to 'make space for treatments', and because dentists have left, or a new dentist hasn't started.. each time then I call to rearrange, the next possible appointment is half a year away, even though on a couple of occasions I have been told that they have private appointments at an earlier date. If I have complained enough, they seem to magically find an appointment that 5 minutes earlier didn't exist. Ordinarily, I would not bother giving feedback. But I am over 1year post-partum, and have not been able to have a single dental check-up since before falling pregnant, a time at which you are recommended to be seen more regularly. It's absolutely ridiculous that this practice is not opening up their private appointments to help with demand. I have also found some of the reception staff to be rude and patronising. I would not recommend this practice, and have been forced to find a new dentist.

  8. Review titled Nice folk

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was treated with consideration and kindness. The treatment was successful, and the experience was as enjoyable as possible, considering it was at a dentist. The information provided was useful, and reassuring.

  9. Review titled Professional and welcoming

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Paul Nicholls - Posted on 29 January 2023

Nobody seems to have a nice word about dental practices of late, especially surrounding the lack and length of obtaining any NHS appointments. I just want to give thanks to the dentist I see on Thursday, she was utterly charming! Couldn’t have been nicer or more professional if she tried, as was her nurse. I understand the immense pressures on the dental industry and this practice hasn’t been immune to heavy criticism on social media as have the dentists themselves, if we want to keep NHS dentists in our practices look for the positives, we can all find negatives! Oh and if they shout down to the waiting area to save time to call you in, “2nd floor to 1st floor waiting area” please acknowledge, they aren’t being rude, just trying to get through the huge amount of appointments! So please, be nice and we might just be able to hold onto a dentist before another one leaves.

not sure what is going on here , but seems many dentists have left, replacement have come and gone...very difficult to get an appointment without many cancellations and reschedules in the process??
