This was my first visit back to the dentist since covid and, as such, I was a little nervous. However, all the staff were friendly and the dentist very quickly calmed my nerves by being engaging, friendly and utterly professional throughout. Highly recommended.

This practice is made by great people. It is a shame to never be able to get NHS appointments here and the actual building/interior needs brightening up but the staff have all been excellent. Reception team are friendly and efficient. I’m a nervous dentist-goer but both the dentist and hygienist have always been positive, encouraging and helpful. Really brilliant people. Support the NHS!

Was able to change my time to an earlier time for the same day, and I had a check up and teeth clean and good advice how to look after my teeth and what products to use to keep my teeth healthy. The service was good didn't have to wait long to be seen.

I had a dentist for over 20 years not once have they ever phoned to reconfirm an an appointment as a reminder when the appointment is near, neither have they sent out or call to request a check up when it's due. Eventually I got fed up and spoke to a friend of mine how dissatisfied I was with the dental practice I have been attending. My friend recommended me to Abbey Dental Practice in St James Street, Walthamstow in London. I went for my very first appointment yesterday, once you enter the reception the staff are immaculately dressed in the firm's uniform, the waiting room is nothing like a dental practice, you wouldn't know if you are in one. Once your name is called for your appointment there are several cubicles for each dentist. The dental surgeons is very friendly they understand when they have a nervous patient, there are no instruments laying around to make you feel uncomfortable. This is where I feel that I have made the right decision by changing over.

Very disappointing compared to previous, regular check ups. I was seen for less than 5 minutes. The examination was as thorough as previous visits - just the odd tap of a few teeth and was told I brush too hard. Other than not being happy, the friendliness of the dentist and support as well as reception staff remains remains good, which I suppose is the important thing?

I had a very pleasant experience with Abbey dental. Reception staff are so kind and will find you the best schedule available possible. My Dentist and his assistant are very pleasant and made sure I was alright throughout the procedure, every step was explained to me while procedure was ongoing which I found very helpful for those with anxiety/ fear of going to the dentists. I would definitely recommend this practice. The experience made me less afraid of coming to the dentists.

I have been avoiding dental treatment as past experiences have not always been good. Having plucked up the courage I faced a course of treatment so was a litle uncertain about it all. However I need not have worried - each person I saw - dentist and other staff - have all been very supportive and caring and gave off a sense of certainty that seems to come from knowing what they were doing. I would have no hesitation in going back if further treatment is needed

I`ve been with this practice for around 10 years and find every aspect to be excellent. The Reception staff are friendly and efficient, the text reminders of appointments useful and the dental care the best I`ve ever had. Issues are discussed and options considered without any pressure. It`s a consensual process. I particularly like the emphasis on preventative care to support good hygiene routines. I wish previous dentists had focused a bit more on that! This is quite a large group practice so there will be a dentist to suit all requirements.
