Both I and my best friend visited for assessments. The Receptionists greeted us warmly, had smiling, happy and good humoured attitudes which put us at ease. Doctors and Nurses were equally pleasant and very professional. Even the Cleaner was delightful! In spite of a major optician's chain stating that I needed my cataracts removed my diagnosis revealed that this was unnecessary for 1-2 years or more. It was confirmed that my friend did require an operation. Thank you everyone for your lovely care and attention.

What a wonderful experience. Staff are so kind, attentive, professional and friendly. Referred to this clinic by my optician as had very bad experience previously and damage to right eye after cataract op 4 years ago. Understandably felt quite nervous this time having left eye operated on but soon relaxed. Very calm atmosphere and lovely surroundings.

I had Cataract.surgery on my second eye yesterday and the experience was just as pleasant as the first time.. Everyone is so very friendly and so very efficient I can't praise them highly enough . Well done!

I had my cataract surgery yesterday and was extremely anxious about it. I needn't have worried. Spamedica Watford were brilliant every step of the way from the friendly reception to the amazing surgeon who seemed like he was finished in 5 minutes!! Many thanks to all the team!

In spite of a huge delay where I was waiting 3 hours to go in and was a gibbering wreck both before and afterwards, the staff were just amazing. They didn't treat me like I was stupid for being so scared but actually cared how I felt. I broke the rules by going to get a drink when I had eye drops in and was told off, firmly but with great good humour which absolutely took away the sting but made me realise it was important. I cannot thank all the staff enough and hope that I am not such a wreck for my second operation or such trouble with my need for something to drink (:

All the Departments were ok except Surgery itself. Surgeon introduced himself and I was led to theatre, asked to lie on a couch, nothing was explained as to how the op would be done . I lied down something was put over my face and I felt water coming down the side of my face. Surgery was done quickly. No one in the theatre reassured me. All I could hear was staff talking amongst themselves about their shifts and work stuff. It almost felt like I was object and they dealt with whatever they had to do. It was like pit stop on a racing track. The whole experience left me traumatised. I have decided not to come back to Spa Medica for my other eye surgery.

Thank you My first Cataract surgery procedure has been great success surgeon took care and made me comfortable. For which I am very grateful. staff very efficient, polite and friendly. From reception to surgeon. Very neat and clean place. Watford I would highly recommend and give 5 stars.

I was surprised at the welcome I received walking through the door. It made me feel relaxed. Procedure went smoothly and there was always someone checking on you. It was so quick to receive an appointment. Both eyes completed in 10 weeks.
