Having been slightly apprehensive of the forthcoming procedure, which I guess is fairly natural….I really need not have been. All is explained, thoroughly & you are told what to expect, at each stage. Everybody is so friendly & helpful. So….a good experience! Thank you so much

I had my 1st cataract surgery on 24 November. I was very nervous ahead of it but need not have been. Everybody I met was extremely professional, caring and each and every step was explained thoroughly. I felt supported throughout and would have no hesitation in recommending spamedica watford to anybody requiring cataract surgery. Thank you so much....

The whole process of having my cataract operation was very straightforward and I was put at ease at all times. The information provided all through the pre-assessment and the operation was very thorough and the booklets provided explained everything that would happen and gave guidance for what to do after I got home. An excellent experience and I look forward to having the 2nd eye done soon.

Friendly, kind and attentive staff, at every stage.All the staff worked as a team, very professional. Excellent literature to read, explaining every detail. Happy to return for operation on second eye, no worries. Have already recommended Spamedica to friends.

I have now had two cataracts removed at this clinic. I of course was nervous, but was totally reassured by the nurses there. Such kind, caring people. The reception staff are excellent very professional but also very caring and attentive. A special mention here for the young man who works on reception, nothing was too much trouble for him. The theatre staff explained exactly what would happen, and the surgeon was also very reassuring. I would recommend this clinic in a heartbeat and if I had another eye I would love to return!! Thank you all so much for your kindness and professionalism.

On Wednesday I arrived at the SpaMedica site in Watford. At 0830 I was taken in and given eye drops, after a period to allow drops to act, at 0955 I was given another set of drops, at 1000hrs on the dot I was taken into the theatre by the surgeon and was made comfortable on the bed. At 1005hrs I was told the operation had been completed, I was then seen by the post operative nurse who gave me drops and advice booklet and was allowed to go. Yes I had a dull ache, yes I had blurry vision, yes I had gritty feeling in the eye, yes my eye watered, all as advised in the booklet. After a good night's sleep I took the eye shield off and my sight was perfect! I am astonished and amazed at the outcome. I sincerely thank the SpaMedica team at Watford for what they are doing every working day for folk like me. Well Done!

Very friendly, helpful knowledgeable staff. Clean, bright premises. Easy parking. Everybody from welcoming receptionists, nurses, opticians to surgeon lovely!
