From the moment the driver picked us up to dropping back home the whole experience went without a hitch. The staff without exception were very polite and friendly. I like many others was worried about work being carried out on your eyes. There was no need, the results are amazing and can't wait to have my other eye treated. Many thanks.

After having 1st op in June I was surprised to have to wait 4 months for the 2nd. There was some confusion with SM and the NHS booking service - but hey, got to Truro in the end. The staff were very polite and professional and the hour delay was probably out of their control but didn't help the nerves. The environment is very clean and free refreshments a pleasant surprise. I felt safe and listened to. Questions were answered honestly. The procedure was very quick with minimal discomfort which was eased by paracetamol. I would highly recommend this clinic for surgery as definitely less imposing than a regular hospital but still with state of the art equipment and high class services provided by very competent and efficient staff

From first visit to having my operation I cannot praise this clinic enough. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted by smiling friendly staff who can’t do enough for you, even making you tea to calm the nerves. The whole process was so professional and you know that if you need them for after care, they are there at the end of the phone. I would highly recommend this clinic.

All staff were absolutely outstanding, excellent service everything was explained and carried out with understanding. From the moment I walked in all staff especially theatre staff who were so professional and after care from nurses who explained the procedure of self aftercare.many thanks to all staff involved in my procedure and care once again I thank you I was a little nervous about the operation but thanks to your staff it all ram smoothly and I was put at ease.

Every one was really friendly made me feel less anxious.Was really impressed with cleanness bright and shiny especially toilets . Found experience of having my cataract off difficult am quite a nervouse person anyway. But in general excellent.

Appointment was for 08:10 and I was told to expect to be in for 3 hours. Was taken into pre-op and 08:40 and left the hospital at about 10:30. Staff were very friendly and explained everything as I went through the process. Downside was that they used an indelible marker to identify the eye to be operated on and the sheet they handed out on the Post Operative do's and don'ts would have been useful at my assessment (e.g. No mowing or gardening fo a month and no vaccuming for 2 weeks!)

All questions comprehensively answered. I felt that I mattered as an individual during my Pre-operative Assessment.Therefore I happily attended SpaMedica for my left eye’s cataract surgery and intraocular lens implant. As one is “awake” I was fascinated by the procedure being conducted in my eye, rather like my private laser light show. Unfortunately due to unforeseen medical reasons I could not keep the appointment for my right eye procedure SpaMedica were accommodating in rearranging an appointment for my right eye’s surgery. So with the “all clear” from a SpaMedica approved Optician I’m looking forward to my newly improved vision which is already so much clearer, but with Astigmatism dealt with and a prism effect to bring about a conjunction of left and right focus I will be completely satisfied. Thank you SpaMedica.

i had two visits in the last two months both times on the first time i enterd the building i was met bye smilling and helpful staff and the second when i had my op the excellent service was continued what a glorious place to have treatment
