From entering the building to leaving, I was looked after every step of the way. My only regret was not thanking the lady who did my procedure, as I was a bit groggy. Also I was very nervous, but all the staff put me at ease. All in all I could not have had a better set of people looking after me.

From start to finish I was was treat with kindness the staff are all really lovely and explain everything quite clearly. Anyone who is feeling nervous like I did forget it there is nothing to worry about its quick efficient and very easy to deal with . Highly recommended thankyou so much.

Had an appointment for a cataract removal & was amazed at how painless & easy it was. All staff are extremely friendly & approachable & already looking forward to having the same procedure on the other eye. Many thanks to all concerned who work at Spamedica.

Very apprehensive but it was fine. So much better than my NGH experience. Staff were kind and helpful much better than the usual NHS off hand attitude. No pain during operation and no nasty images. Outcome was fine I’m now a Hawkeye

I have just finished having cateracts removed from my eyes. It was the most pleasant experience I have had with any medical procedures I have undergone. The staff in all the departments were friendly and helpful, they were very professional in everything they did. I have spoken with other people who have had the same procedures done that I had and all I c an say is I am glad it was not me. Again thank you for all you have done.

Had cataract surgery and every stage of the procedure was explained by very friendly staff .I was providing excellent post op instructions and today which is day after operation I have no discomfort whatsoever.

As soon as I was referred through to them I was called within a week for a consultation. They were honest and stuck to their words. Spamedica is an amazing practice with friendly staff. I Would definitely recommend to others. The clinic is Very clean and tidy.

Initial Impressions - Very Good: *pre-op assessment - good, with thorough conversation and examination; *day of surgery - reception staff were good and explained procedure clearly; Theatre Experience - Disappointing/Unsatisfactory *surgery theatre, surgeon - supercilious, disconnected, emotionally cold and unsupportive of my anxiety; uncommunicative with curt manner and reluctance to talk; left the room immediately after surgery with no comment or pleasantries, left me feeling deflated and concerned - the surgeon needs training in interpersonal skills; *nursing staff - practical, mechanical approach. Possibly taking their lead from the surgeon. Immediate Concerns & Examinations - due to blurred vision in untreated eye: Very Good *Eye tests and scans - helpful and positive staff *Ophthalmologist - very thorough, with good communication skills, put me at my ease. I was seen for an assessment within a week of being referred by my optician. I was apprehensive about the procedure but need worried. The atmosphere was so calm and every member of staff I encountered was helpful and kind. Everything was explained fully, with plenty of time and opportunity, to ask questions. I would have no hesitation in returning to have a second procedure done when the time comes, nor would I have any hesitation I recommending SpaMedica.
