I would like to thank all the staff at spa medica today ,from the moment I arrived Till I exited the building. They were friendly and explained everything to me that was going to happen in surgery. I was in and out in no time and and sort off dreading this day to come . Absolutely credit to the NHS Many thanks Sean

From the initial inspection to the completion of cataract surgery on both eyes the service offered was absolutely first class. It was good to have a specific time with suitable time gaps between each patient rather than five or six patients with the same time for their appointment. I cannot speak too highly of the care and attention to detail given at each stage, the whole set up seemed to run so efficiently. I was put at ease from the beginning. My appointment was at 9.00am and I was on my way home just after 10.15 am. Just superb.

I have got to say how pleased I was with the whole process. Staff were very good. Made you relax. A pleasure to see clinical staff enjoying their job and outwardly showing it,thank you.

All staff, medical and administration were helpful, informative and professional. In spite of some apprehension on my part at first regarding the procedures it was fully explained and the operation itself remarkable quick. Following the procedures my vision is much improved and everything much brighter. Thank you to all concerned.

I felt as if I were an inanimate object on a production line. The reception staff and the nurses were OK, although could have been a bit more personable. However, the surgeon was very brusque and, when I yelped in pain, made no attempt to stop and give more anaesthetic, or even reassure or apologise. I don't want to put anyone off having a cataract operation. Other people I've spoken to have had no problems and my sister actually enjoyed it. I think I was just unlucky with a surgeon who forgot I was human.

What an amazing experience! Cataract surgery was less intrusive than a dental visit. Everyone was professional yet kind. Thank you to everyone in the team for making this operation accessible, possible and a positive experience.

I have had a great experience from SpaMedica when attending for my cataract surgery. Friendly staff who explained theprocedure to me and made sure I understood what was going to happen. Good aftercare procedures were put not place and explained to me.

Every aspect of going to spa medica in Preston has been of the highest standard. Extremely well organised, processes fully explained, examinations conducted in a professional manner and staff (all) friendly and helpful. Appointments in excellent time - expected to have to wait much longer! Checks completed in very professional manner. Being informed by surgeon about what to do and what was going to happen put me very much at ease and gave me confidence in what I was having done

From Preliminary appointment to the operation staff were wonderful. Kept fully informed throughout. All appointments on time no waiting. Staff could not havve been more helpful, friendly or professional. Would recommend them to anyone. The operation was quick and efficient. Told throughout what to expect. After care very good. Premises spotless. Plenty of staff. Great experience.
