A wonderful experience with everyone involved being very supportive and understanding. After one sleep I now have perfect distance vision in my operated eye. Can’t wait for the other one. Procedure was uncomfortable but not painful. Would have liked more chat during the operation as to how it was going, but he was obviously concentrating.

I can’t fault the service I received at spamedica for my cataract removal. The staff were friendly, professional and incredibly efficient. From referral to the operation it has been a matter of a couple of weeks.

From the moment I went in the door, I was very well looked after.Waiting time was short but tea/coffee and biscuits were available. Everything at the pre assessment appointment was well explained. The operations for both eyes were so good. I was put at ease straight away and the operations were over so quickly. The next morning on both occasions my sight was really good, once I had cleaned the eye. There was no redness, very little light sensitivity. The second eye operated on 15 February2024 was sore and gritty just after the operation but by next morning this was better. I thank everyone involved in what was a good experience

Excellent service from swift arrangement of assessment to fast process to cataract operation, all within 2 weeks of Optician’s referral! Staff were very attentive and everything was well explained, time given to ask questions and receive answers. Important information such as ‘which eye’ were asked multiple times to avoid errors. From start to finish felt safe, staff were caring and friendly smiling faces made the experience easy.

The whole procedure was made so easy in a relaxing but professional way. The result of having this procedure is fantastic. This is the first time in 62 years I have 20/20 vision without the need for glasses or contact lenses. I have no doubts about my experience and would recommend anyone with similar issues to use SpaMedica, they are brilliant.

I have recently had the second cataract removed, and following the four-week check up, am extremely happy to learn that I no longer need glasses for driving. My sincere thanks to my surgeon and all the staff at this practise.
