From the moment I was greeted at the door by a very pleasant person offering me guidance to check in and a coffee through to the actual operation was a relaxing and efficient experience. My only criticism is that I had taken the trouble to take a kindle and downloaded a podcast to occupy me whilst waiting, but as soon as I passed through reception I was encouraged to put my belongings in a locker so I lost access to them. As I waited an hour for my turn I would have appreciated the opportunity to use my kindle/phone. Surely it would be better to leave possessions in the locker prior to going through to the pre-op area. Another issue was the chairs used in this waiting room, obviously designed for a lot taller person. Several people waiting with me complained about how uncomfortable the chairs were. Having said all that, I am delighted so far with the service, the staff and my operation. I look forward to having my second cataract removed.

Amazing service from start to finish. From being warmly welcomed, to booking in at reception. Seeing assessed at various stations and finally the surgery. The whole process was Fabulous.

The reception staff and medical team were all kind and reassuring. If you have to have laser treatment it is nothing to worry about, it only takes a few minutes and hopefully, like me, your sight will be returned to as good as it was when the original cataract was removed. I did get 'floaters' for a few days, but this is now reducing. Thank you to the team.

Easy process from start to finish. Great staff, relaxed environment. Procedures were explained at every step. The location is very convenient with ample parking. I can't praise the experience highly enough

Had my second eye surgery 2 weeks ago at SpaMedica Leicester and just like the first one everything went so smoothly. All the staff are brilliant , there all so welcoming and put you at ease. It has only took six weeks to have both of my eyes sorted i was a bit nervous about having the procedure done but was put at ease by all the staff so i wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone who is nervous to have their cataracts done to have them done at SpaMedica. Very polite, not rushed, but also not sitting around for long periods. Quick and to the point.. But then this is for standard treatments without complex co problems

Spa medica is outstanding. The staff and doctors are kind caring and understanding. My dad had both cataract's done with them and he was so pleased from start to finish. He couldn’t believe how he was looked after and he wasn’t afraid to have them done, he was reassured all the way through, and I’m glad to say his eyes are great. Thank you to all.
