Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Fast appointment. Surgery was quick, pain free. No needles, just eye drops. Everything explained step by step. Had both of my cataract surgery done here. No problems after surgery . Highly recommended. Thank you SpaMedica

From start to finish the staff at Leicester were very reassuring, explaining each step clearly. I was worried about having cataract surgery but needn't have done. I've gone from very poor short sight to being able to see distances without glasses which is amazing. I can't wait to have the second one done. Thank you SpaMedica.

Referred for cataract replacement on urgent basis due to rapid deterioration possibly due to steroid medication. Sight rapidly failing in one eye over a matter of weeks, struggling with work (computer based) and had injuries with poor balance and weakened sight. Filled in long 'life-style' forms stating how badly routine tasks impinged upon. After multiple tests got rejected as visual acuity is not bad enough as yet. No consideration given to my earlier statements regarding impact on life despite NHS guidelines that "Surgery is usually offered on the NHS if your cataracts are affecting your eyesight and quality of life. The decision to have surgery should not be based solely on your eye test (visual acuity) results." Feel really angry that my time has been wasted and I will have to endure longer with this condition. It doesn't inspire me to return to this clinic when (without doubt) I am re-referred in the near future.

Dear patient, your local NHS commissioners set the referral criteria for patients based in your area. This will usually depend on the results of a recent eye test and how cataracts are affecting your day-to-day life. SpaMedica is only able to treat patients who meet the local referral criteria. Very friendly and very helpful Excellent service. Felt very much at ease. Every procedure was explained clearly from entry to departure. Hospitality was excellent from every personal.

I can honestly say that Spa Medica have changed my life. After two cataract operations I can now watch television with out glasses.. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and any worries I had were quickly removed. Thank you and I will be recommending you to all my friends and family.

I have had 2 cataract operations at SPA Medica Leicester. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Appointments were on time. Tea or coffee both available and welcome. The "Operations" were painless and I was informed all the time as to what was taking place. I have already recommended SPA to a colleague and he has already been given an assessment appointment. Well done!!

Friendly welcome and nerves soon calmed . Was treated by all staff very kindly and courteously and made to feel safe. Procedure was completed in a shorter time than I imagined.

From the moment I entered the building I was greeted by friendly staff who took great care in informing me throughout the whole procedure ,and I couldn’t thank them enough .I would highly recommend SpaMedica
