My experience of cataract surgery at Spa Medica was excellent. All the staff ( from reception to surgeon and everyone in between) were professional, reassuring, informative and friendly. The environment is welcoming and the procedure from initial assessment to surgery and post-operative care is outstanding. I can highly recommend Spa Medica to anyone seeking eye surgery.

Everything about my treatment Spa Medica was just brilliant from start to finish. Everyone, from the concierge who met me at reception, to the surgeon who treated me was friendly, efficient and respectful. I have two cataracts removed with exceptional results. It’s like someone has drawn back a curtain to let the light and colour flood in. I am not wearing glasses for the first time in 25 years!! Amazing.

I can’t recommend this clinic highly enough. From check-in to leaving, all the staff and my surgeon were just so nice and caring. The op was over in 10 minutes, didn’t feel a thing. Thanks again to you all .

I was referred by my Optometrist on 12th Jan, 2024, when I got home from my appointment I received a phone call from Spa Medica to arrange a pre op appointment, I was away on a short holiday otherwise appointment could have been even earlier,I eventually had my Cataract operation on 30th January,2024. On the day as with my pre op appointment on 22nd Jan, everyone was friendly, professional and explained every aspect of what to expect, there were numerous stages before having the operation and at each stage I was throughly asked, name, date of birth, any allergies, even when on the operating table after giving my answers numerous times before I was again asked the same questions, very thorough but in a friendly manner. The surgeon had previously introduced himself and again explained the procedure, it was all over before I realised, it couldn’t have been a better experience. After the operation I was again spoken to and after care was fully explained to me and information package handed to me, I was then led through to the reception area where I was brought a hot drink. I can honestly say the whole experience was wonderful and without any complaint whatsoever, I have since had my post operation appointment with my optometrist, everything had healed well and my vision now was nearly perfect so I genuinely would like to thank my optometrist and all the staff at Spa Medica for looking after me so well. I attended for cataract surgery and then lens replacement a few weeks later. From referral by my optician to first appointment was a few days and the surgery booked in shortly thereafter. All staff were attentive and put me at ease. Appointments were on time. The coffee machine was appreciated. The surgeons and theatre staff were very professional and seemed very experienced. Now I am amazed and delighted with my new eyes!

I was booked into Spa Medica, Chester to have my first cataract done in Dec 2023 and the second one in January 2024. I can’t recommend the it too much. The whole process was absolutely faultless and the staff were incredible- so friendly and professional. Amazing, absolutely amazing. The operation itself was painless and the instructions for aftercare both simple and effective. I am so pleased to have had both operations there.

I had cataract surgery in January and the whole process was unbeliveably good. The staff including the surgeon and nurses were very caring and reassuring throughout my visit. I would recommend SpaMedica without hesitation.
