From first entering Spa Medica the staff made me at ease. The whole procedure was seamless. All staff are very professional and friendly. Cannot fault at all. Overall it was a faultless experience. Thank you to all the staff.

Short wait for apt. Greeted at the door by a welcoming face, taken to pre- op assessment clinic. Staged review, all staff pleasant, professional and friendly. Proceedure explained and all concerns addressed. Promp apt for surgery 2 weeks later. Again throughout surgery all staff caring and professional. Very organised. They have clear processes to ensure safety and they follow them. The surgeon was great and explained everything. As to the cataract surgery, no pain, the worst bit was the very bright light, but the surgeon needed that to see properly. A very odd feeling when the new lens was inserted but not pain. Overall, it wasn't pleasant but far better than expected, I would take it over a root canal filling anyday! Post op care great. After 48 hours new eye has almost got normal vision. Overall very impressed, they clearly do lots of cataracts on an impressive production line but retain the most important personal touch. Well done. Other eye needs doing now.

I cannot thank the staff at SpaMedica, Bolton enough. The change in my sight seems like magic, but I know it is not. It is due to the friendly welcome, the dedication of the nurses, and the skill of the surgeons. When I get my new reading glasses next week, my life will have been transformed. Thank you all so much.

The staff are all welcoming and pleasant. The actual clinic is absolutely spotless and has excellent facilities which includes refreshments. The nurses were all efficient and answered all my questions regarding the cataract surgery. The surgery procedure was perfect and the wonderful surgeon explained everything to me so as to alleviate my anxiety. From start to finish this has been a positive experience, thank you to everyone who made it so and the NHS.
