Attended recently with mother-in-law who needs extra help. This was not a problem. The staff were accommodating right from the beginning. They were so kind and considerate. I would highly recommend SpaMedica. Hope they are still going when I need them!

Have used Spa Medica in both Manchester and Bolton, have used as a private hospital and through NHS for cataract surgery. The experience on both occasions has been really good, fabulous staff, clean, modern with first class amenities. Had my first surgery in 2015 and haven’t worn specs since that day. The staff have a very caring attitude are very professional, polite and friendly. I would recommend this service to anyone, Thankyou Spa Medica.

I underwent cataract surgery and throughout the process from start to finish experience nothing but friendly, caring & professional treatment. Absolutely first class experience.

I must admit I was a little apprehensive when I visited Spamedica in Preston a couple of weeks ago but I found it to be very professional, very caring staff who put me completely at my ease from the driver to the nursing staff, and I would like to say a very big thank you to everyone of them who made me feel completely at ease throughout the whole procedure.

Review titled Second cataract operation

The first op was a walk in the park and was a tremendous success. Was back in a near normal routine within one week. The second op, just 5 days ago was more of a trip through a jungle. It took a little longer in theatre and needed more pain relief during theatre and 2 x lbuprofen on the following day. However, by lunchtime the pain and eye watering had completely cleared up and everything was back to normal. The care and consideration shown by SpaMedica Bolton was first class and now l am driving more safely and without glasses Normally l use varifocal lenses but will cope without a problem until my next eye test. SpaMedica advice to buy inexpensive reading glasses, one pair for reading and a second pair for computer work will get me through until everything settles down and a new eye test is done Thank you for a brilliant experience and a job well done Anthony Ambrose

Referred by optician 21June; received tel call from SpaMedica Freedom View the following day to arrange Assessment consultation. Only due to my unavailability, first appointment set for 21 July. Extremely accommodating and friendly staff, eager to put you at ease. Correction of my vision dictated that specific lenses were required, and were only available via Private means. First surgery carried out 13/9/23 very comfortable with organisation’s approach to reassurance at a potentially stressful stage. Explanation at each stage of procedures. When I had a post-op query, it was suggested extra visit for assessment Found it very reassuring. Second surgery 25/10/23 Equally good with full explanations. Day 1 post-op feel much better having already been through it once Very happy with whole experience especially staff approach, and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits!!

I was apprehensive about having a cataract procedure, but the staff make you feel very relaxed the whole experience was well supervised with very helpful and pleasant staff.
