From start to finish the whole team I saw were professional and friendly, they talk you through the whole process. The surgery itself was quick and painless and the surgeon talks you through the op. The day after the op my vision was clear without any itching or scratching feeling . I'm now managing without glasses which is the first time in 67years, thank you SparMedica you done a great job, I can't wait to get my other eye done

As an anxious person I worried about cataract surgery. My first visit here, I was met and welcomed, they were waiting for me, had all my details right from taking the car registration in the car park, and the whole team continued that way, profesional but friendly.The initial visit comprised eye drops and exams, checking personal details, booking for the surgery date and receiving useful information booklets. The surgery experience was impressive .I expected to be there about 3 hours. This time is for eye drops to be inserted and take effect, then anaesthetic eye drops, checks and then the surgery itself; unbeliebabley, the surgery was the fastest part of the whole journey, and it was true, totally painless. The experience was even what I might class as pleasant! The discharge nurse went though the eye drops and what to do over the next 6 weeks, and a useful post op booklet to take home too.I found their information booklets very easy to read and I am referring to them regularly. The page for recordng the eye drops administration is an excellent idea. And my sight in that eye? after 24 hours, clear, bright colours, the world of good sight is so very different to that seen through cataracts, I'm so happy, its just wonderfyl the difference it makes!

Extremely well treated by all members of staff. Everything was explained to me, staff were kind and helpful. Lots of waiting around which was stressful, a word or two of explanation as to the waiting time would have been helpful.

Very happy with the treatment I received. Staff were very helpful and courteous. I was impressed at how efficient the who operation was, it ran like clockwork!

Two words - just brilliant! I faced this procedure with some trepidation but there was no need as from the time I walked into Reception I was looked after with care and courtesy.

I am so grateful to SpaMedica Bedford for giving me new lenses in my eyes (cataract) I had waited 2 years on other providers but was seen and operated in n within weeks of being referred here. All the staff were lovely…. encouraging and informative. Without the operations I would have had to stop doing the things I love most … I can’t thank you enough xx

The whole process from first being referred to having the procedure done, was not only very quick, but also very efficient and caring. I was never left waiting very long and at each stage the staff I saw were kind and considerate and explained what they were about to do. The surgeon who performed the cataract operation was brilliant and made me feel calm.
