Car park was full and overflow does not have signs as to which bays you can use. Widths of the parking bays are insanely small. Most seem to be around 1.8m wide with some smaller than that. To park a very average sized 1.8m wide Volkswagen Golf (minus wing mirrors) and be able to open the doors, especially when the demographic attending this facility likely need more space is perilously insane. The whole time I was there I was worried about scratches from other vehicles. Need to implement Institution of Structural Engineers recommendations increasing the size of bays to 2.6 meters wide by 5 meters long.

I've just taken my 93 year old dad for his cataract surgery. As you can imagine he was slightly apprehensive but he needn't have worried, from the state of the art treatment rooms to the professionalism of all the staff, they put him at ease and made for a slick, drama free experience.

I attended for my second cataract surgery. The surgeon who performed the operation was wonderful, fully explaining the procedure and the aftercare required.

I have seen consultant for my eye. All staff and clinician are very professional and helpful. Hospital looks very clean and tidy.

I received excellent care while having a cataract operation in May 2024. From the first consultation to the day of the operation they dealt with my anxiety at every stage, from the nurse carrying out the assessment to the nurse that helped me through the actual operation. The surgeon and his team carried out the procedure with highly practised skill. The results are life changing and I wish I'd had it carried out earlier. I cannot wait for my other eye to be sorted. I would highly recommend Newmedica Abingdon if you want a kind, caring and most importantly a highly professional team to restore your eyesight

The team at Newmedica provide an excellent service in all respects. I've had cataract surgery on both eyes with minimum discomfort. My eyes have been opened!

New Medica in Abingdon offers an excellent service. All the staff are extremely helpful and kind and everything works quickly and efficiently, maybe especially so because the centre deals just with eyes and is completely set up for that.

Could not fault my experience at Newmedica. Every member of staff that were involved in my treatment were very professional and friendly. Appointments always on time. Great service and great results having had both eyes operated on the same day. Would certainly recommend this Company without hesitation!

I have been extremely impressed with the quality of care shown by Newmedica. Without execption every member of staff has been friendly and competent, and my cataract surgery was performed swiftly and painlessly. I would recommend them unreservedly.
