Staff were very welcoming and highly professional. Service was extremely prompt and the time keeping excellent. I was treated with respect throughout and I was very impressed with Newmedica.

Shortly after the referral from my optician I was invited for a pre-op at Abingdon. I was quite nervous, but was immediately put at ease by the wonderful staff, the Receptionist, the Nurses and the Optometrist. I was swiftly offered a date for my first cataract removal. The procedure was done by an excellent surgeon and again there was great support from the rest of the team. After my eye test at my optician, I was referred again and within two days I was offered an appointment for the second eye, which I had done yesterday by the same surgeon. Again a very positive experience. Thank you Newmedica. I shall certainly recommend you to others.

I brought my 93 year old father in law for a consultation regarding his cataracts. The reception team, clinician and surgeon treated him with respect and a kindness that exceeded any experienced recently when accessing other NHS services. He left feeling valued and cared for, not a statistic on a waiting list.

The Dr doing the operation was so nice and friendly and also the Receptionist.. However, the other staff could have been friendlier and more receptive.

My first visit, made to feel very relaxed. Wonderful and polite staff throughout. This visit was just my eys assessment. Very nervous about having my eyes touched but felt so much at ease. Just waiting for operation date now.

I attended the clinic for the YAG procedure and I have to say that I was treated with the upmost care and attention by everyone involved. The procedure was completely painless and the end result highly successful.

I found that everyone I encountered on my 2 visits extremly friendy, helpful and courteous. My treatment was fully explained and I had plenty of opportunity to akk questions. I felt that they actually cared about me.

Had YAG Laser treatment today. What a joy to be treated so rapidly. Very clean efficient operation, through, professional and friendly. Appointment 10.45, done and on way home by 11.20. Everything explained as it happened. Sight in treated eye already much much better, now shows potential problem in other eye. Won`t hesitate to return if able. Thank you very much !!!

I had my right eye cataract replaced this month. Very very professional and pain free operation which was quick and carried out without fuss or problems. My eye was a bit uncomfortable for a couple of days but then it cleared and I can now see everything in sharp technicolor. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough, they are just superb as is my new vision.
