  1. Review titled Wonderful service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by M Philips - Posted on 26 May 2023

Was invited for a Lung Health Check at Mortimer Market, and had a scan at main site. Each person I dealt with was polite, friendly, efficient and welcoming. Amazing to find this when the Health Service is under such pressure.

Thank you to the staff in Urgent Care today I had such a satisfactory experience it was actually enjoyable in spite of my concerns about a head Injury. The waiting area was spotlessly clean and pleasant to be in, the organisation efficient from v nice staff throughout & my investigation, results and advice were communicated with kindness and expertise, nor did it take too long, - many thanks to all working there, I won’t dread attending A&E for something in future, at least not at this hospital.

  3. Review titled Brilliant treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have been treated at University College Hospital for years but the last few times I have been I have been super impressed. Every appointment has been on time and efficient, all staff have been friendly and overall I just can't fault the experience and treatment. I had a colonoscopy and was in and out (including recovery time) in less than an hour and a half. I love being treated at University College Hospital and would recommend to anyone!

  4. Review titled Radioactive iodine therapy for thyroid cancer

I spent 5 nights here for my therapy. Really pleased with my experience. Very good hot room where I had to remain isolated in with good facilities like netflix, Xbox, books, mood lamp, kettle, fridge. Very caring and friendly nurses which looked after me and continued to do my obs throughout which helped with my anxiety. Food wasn't great but edible. Discharge instructions given with follow up immediately booked. Was very happy with my experience at this hospital during this worrying time for me.

  6. Review titled Excellent Care at Children's A&E (uclh)

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 18 April 2023

I recently visited the Children's A&E department with my child, and I wanted to express my utmost appreciation for the outstanding care and service that we received. From the moment we arrived, the staff members were extremely attentive, compassionate, friendly, and professional. They took the time to listen to our concerns and explain the procedures, making us feel at ease throughout the entire process. The level of empathy and kindness shown towards my child was exceptional, and it made a significant difference in our overall experience. The facilities were clean, organized, and well-equipped, and we were impressed by the quick and efficient service we received. The medical team was thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt, and they went above and beyond to ensure that my child received the best possible care. Our experience at the Children's A&E was exceptional, and I cannot praise the staff and facilities enough. I highly recommend this department to anyone seeking medical care for their child. I feel a strong connection to 'uclh' and would prefer to visit again instead of going to my local hospital. Thank you for providing such a wonderful service to us.

  7. Review titled Impressive Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Carole Souter - Posted on 28 March 2023

After phoning 111 on Saturday morning (23 rd March) with a Uti I was sent to hospital emergency department. I was visiting London. I was processed immediately and waited a short time only to give a sample and then another short wait to see a nurse practitioner who gave me a very thorough examination while training a colleague and finally actually giving me antibiotics. She was so very professional and friendly. The whole process took only 1 1/2 hours. I was so very impressed with the organised system at the hospital. It just ran like clockwork. A system that could do with being rolled out on the south coast. Mind you staff might be a problem here. Many thanks to the staff.

The nurses, registrars, consultant, all the team members delivered a 5 star service. They were friendly, professional and considerate. A shining example of the CUH at it's best. Thank you.

  9. Review titled Excellent Care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I walked into A and E after work on Thursday 26 Jan with sickness and disorientation. I was called to triage and nearly passed out. Was taken to cubicles and from there until I was discharged on Sunday 29th received the very best care. Fully informed by nursing staff, surgeon and was treated with care and respect. Catering staff very helpful and the food was really good. Cleaning team and porters helpful and considerate. All in all a great experience and grateful for being looked after by a great team. Thanks and well done. I have looked for the right place to send a letter to the Trust but can only find a complaints department, shame, a thanks department would be good as well. Cheers!

  10. Review titled Your text feedback system is not working

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 17 December 2022

I was in A&E yesterday and today was texted for feedback. Unfortunately my reply (2 good) would not send so please check your text system. Incidentally my response would have been 1-very good- because all staff were great, but the process was slow because it seemed that you were very busy and under- resourced.
