    This pharmacy has gone downhill. My most recent experience has left me upset and without my medication. The phone is never answered and when it is, they just blame the GP for medication not being ready. My last months medication wasn't ordered, when it was, I never got a text to say it was. I still don't have all my medication, and had the phone put down on me when I rang up to ask what was happening with it. Suspect they have more patients than they can handle, but that's not the patients fault. Unhelpful and uncaring staff doesn't help. Worst thing is, I tried to contact the customer service department, but they don't reply. Please do better, no one should be left without medication.

  2. Review titled I spoke too soon.

    My first visit a few months ago found it closed at 10.00am. Subsequent visits were fine & staff fairly efficient. They work long hours so I try to understand slip ups. Today, Tuesday August 29, 2023 I went to buy some Witch Hazel or similar at 10.30 am, it was closed. I decided to go elsewhere. I do hope this is an after effect of Bank Holiday and not repeated.

    My first visit was not good, it was not open, I left by 10.00am. I returned later in the afternoon & my prescription was ready & rapidly despatched. Two subsequent visits in August have been good & staff who work long hours efficient. I had no texts any prescription was ready, so I shall check if that is something I need to request.

    For years I have used this Pharmacy, since being taken over by Well it's awful. It seems they don't bother doing regular downloads of repeat prescriptions from GP so can be waiting weeks for medication. In January I ordered my prescription in plenty of time before I ran out, but didn't get text. They initially blamed the GP so spend ages ringing GP to be told sent day after you ordered it. Not informed if a prescription is ready and the worst is you have to listen to rubbish about COVID vaccines before branch phone even rings. Then they can't be bothered to answer it or pick it up and put it down. I have gone to the shop and asked if my prescription was ready and told GP just sent. Yet I know GP sent 10 days ago. This means I go over a week without meds. There is no point complaining to Well management team (online) as they don't bother responding.
