Tried calling the pharmacy 35 times yesterday between 9-3pm with nobody answering, although staff were there.

Sadly the staff in there don't seem to have any customer service skills. There are plenty of them, but they all ignore you and chat amongst themselves and hide away in the prescription area. They also don't seem to have a system for serving customers as it took me 25 minutes to get my prescription, despite being the first customer through the door at 9am. And even then it was only because I complained I had been waiting so long that they finally got it. If I could go elsewhere I would.

  4. Review titled Poor customer service

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I really don't understand how this pharmacy don't train their staff in how to treat customers with respect. I use it because it's local but quite frankly on several occasions the staff are rude and poorly trained and have given poor information. Since they got rid of the post office to have consultation rooms, the pharmacist is often unavailable and it takes a lot longer now to get a prescription. Recently I had to return because the pharmacist was on lunch and then on returning I couldn't get my prescription because the dispensing person was on lunch so I had to wait another hour, I don't understand why the pharmacist couldn't have dispensed it. The atmosphere in here is dire since the post office closed and I really can't understand why they need all the space, they have a lot of tat in here that has nothing to do with a chemist when they would be better off stocking a bigger range of personal hygiene products. I have lived in the area for over 10 years but you never get treated like a local or with any recognition that you're a familiar face. So I try and avoid it now and am contemplating changing my default chemist on the NHS app.

  6. Review titled Disgusting customer service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Beyond horrified at the way a woman was treated in the pharmacy, she was obviously uncomfortable with the 2 clueless men behind the counter, they wouldn't let her look at medication for intimate area , her eyesight I think was poor , she explained this and asked for all the choices to be put at till so she decide which one suits her best , they did not do this so she got very irritated as it was embarrassing for her , when she tried to get a look at the products by craning around the corner the cordoned that of with security rope , this I really think made her look like she was going to rob the shop , I can see why this customer got upset , the staff are beyond stupid and incompetent and in my opinion need training in customer service

  7. Review titled Always long waits

Rated 1 star out of 5

Being quite a big pharmacy there is always a lot going on, but makes it very hard to speak to an actual pharmacist as opposed to counter staff. Digital prescriptions are not readied until you come and collect them, then there is always a long wait (20+ minutes).

I submitted my subscription online on the 21st of Jan only to be told yesterday it was not done and if i waited 1/2 an hour they would do it.I said i would come back in the morning.I cued outside until 10 past 9 when a member of staff put a note in the window saying they would not be opening today unless more staff turned up.I have been phoning them all day to see if there open but you get the engaged tone continually as i think its been left off. Will not use them again cause this is not a one off problem.

Always long queues, no permanent staff at the counter so often no one serving. There is no communication about how long the wait for your prescription will be. Even if you drop prescription and come back to pick up later you still end up waiting 15-20mins for medication. The staff are not knowledgeable or helpful. Came in requesting medication that specialist had told me I could get over counter, after a long wait I was informed that I needed a prescription, had to organise a prescription with GP, came back with prescription waited 20mins for them to tell me they couldn't find it on shelf and I'd have to come back the next day. Came back today to pick up prescription to wait 15mins to be told that a prescription wasn't required and I could buy it cheaper over the counter. Will not be returning to this pharmacy.
