I'm a regular customer for monthly repeat prescriptions. I phoned at 10am to say I would collect my repeat prescription at around 3pm that day and was told it would be ready to collect. When I arrived just after 3pm I was told the pharmacist wasn't there and could I call back later or tomorrow. I said no, I was disabled and had been told it would be ready. I was asked to wait and the pharmacist would be back in 10 or 15 minutes. My wait totalled almost 40 minutes during which time 4 or 5 people were told to come back, 1 person ended up buying medication as they couldn't be given the same on prescription. This is the third time in four months there has been an issue collecting my meds. Finally, after over 30 minutes of waiting, I was given my prescription but with some meds owing. It is highly likely that I won't be using this pharmacy for future prescriptions.

Dear Sir, firstly I apologise for not meeting your expectations. The pharmacist had gone out for lunch and unfortunately due to the nature and classification of the medication we are unable to give out the medication if the pharmacist is not present in the pharmacy. We appreciate you notified us in advance and I apologise as we could have communicated this better and dealt with the situation with a little more clarity and may be offered to deliver the medication for you. We value and respect your feedback and are putting procedures in place to prevent this happening in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
