Since being with this pharmacy I have nothing but praise. The shop is clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and go out of their way to help even when ringing for repeat prescriptions . Very professional. The prescription delivery service is also efficient. Today I have attended for vaccinations and once again things went smoothly. A first class service!

I recently visited the pharmacy with the simple request of having my blood pressure checked. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The staff members I approached were incredibly rude, stating they were too busy to assist me, despite the fact that checking blood pressure takes only a few seconds. I was willing to wait however, they did not want to do it and told me to try somewhere else. It was disappointing to encounter such poor customer service, as a little courtesy goes a long way. I hope that in the future, this pharmacy can prioritise patients needs and provide a more welcoming environment for all visitors.

Firstly, many thanks for taking the time to submit a review. These, good or bad, are valuable to us and help us to improve the service we offer. There is no excuse if you felt our staff were rude towards you and this was certainly not their intention. You should have been offered the option of making an appointment to return if the pharmacy was too busy to currently provide this service. If I can explain a little about the NHS blood pressure testing service as this is relatively new. It is primarily aimed at the over 40s but can include younger people or those referred by a GP surgery for instance for a contraceptive pill check. This is a formalised NHS process and usually takes a minimum of 15 minutes, that's why there are circumstances when we may not be able to offer the service on a walk in or wait basis. This service can only be delivered by a qualified pharmacist or pharmacy technician. Patients should sit quietly for at least 5 minutes in the waiting area. They will then be invited into the consultation room. Their blood pressure will then be taken a minimum of twice ( once on the left and once from the right arms) and up to four times depending on the first two readings. These results will then be discussed with the patient. All patients will also be offered advice about healthy living. Following the check the results are then submitted to the NHS and are recorded in your GP record. I can understand the frustration of initially thinking this is a process that should take only a few seconds but I trust you can now appreciate that there is considerably more involved than immediately apparent. Easy to book flu jabs. The service was prompt and second to none. All done and dusted within 24 hours. Good communication from the pharmacy as to delivery of the serum. Kept up to date.

I went to have my COVID jab.this is a nice friendly pharmacy and made you feel at ease.i will be calling in to have my flu jab next week.nice that I will be able to walk in without an appointment.
