Review titled New to Area
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 16 April 2024
I recently moved to the Maghull area. I was looking for a pharmacy online to register as my preferred pharmacy. When looking at the feedback on Rightdose, I was a bit apprehensive. It was by chance that I was passing the pharmacy and popped in. I was expecting an old style, broken down pharmacy from the recent reviews, but was surprised. Its light, newly refit and on chatting with the staff, was made aware that the recent NHS reviews were based on a hub service provided by the store that had recently been stopped, so lots of angry customers. The staff in the shop were lovely and handled my sign up perfectly. I would definately say that you should visit the store your medication comes from, cause you will be surprised by the contrast from the reviews to the actual store. Vice versa, my old pharmacy had many raving reviews online but in person it was a quiet, old store. The redeeming factor was the staff. Dont judge a pharmacy by its reviews alone, go in and speak to the staff.

Review titled Improved Pharmacy

After a bumpy ride while they tried to pursue a compliance aid service, I can confirm that the Pharmacy is now fantastic. They have new systems and a really good staffing in place. I had no hassles with my prescriptions and services at all. Would reccommend.

Review titled Terrible service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Robert Currie - Posted on 19 September 2023
Ordered repeat prescription on 11/09/23 as per previous orders with Rightdose, nothing came so checked with them on 18/09/23 only to be told they had stopped service to England and I should have had an email. Agent checked and apologised, no email sent as, apparent was a clerical error which meant I wasn’t showing as a customer despite having two months of successful deliveries. Reason for not supporting English prescriptions: cost gone up but NHS haven’t responded to increased cost. I’d say poor administration was their downfall, being a customer but not being a customer due to admin error, no email to inform me service stopped, no meds delivered and almost ran out. Sorry but this is another example of a broken system and I’d say beware! Rightdose is not reliable, principle good but sadly let down by an overworked, out of date, admin heavy broken NHS.

Review titled No longer supplying England
Rated 1 star out of 5

I recently changed to rightdose, however today I contacted them about an outstanding item to be informed that they are no longer going to be supplying to England and that all English based customers will receive an email in the next few weeks informing them of this.

Review titled Dreadful

This firm should not be allowed to advertise in the United Kingdom. I signed up in March 2023 and have yet to receive any medication. I'm out of meds, they don't communicate, when you ring up they act like you are a nuisance and apparently not serving uk after this month. Wherever they do serve, I recommend avoiding... you will not receive your medication.

Review titled Definitely a downgrade

A number of times they don’t have my prescription. And if they do it’s always a non urgent. So it takes them a10 days to get to it and then I have to wait around for a few hours to get my prescription. So it always takes about 3 weeks for a repeat. And I get 4 weeks supply, so I am constantly having to put in repeats

Review titled Left without medication 2 months in a row
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 17 July 2023
Rightdose have left with me without lifesaving medications for 2 months in a row. Upon receiving my "time to order!" emails, I immediately order my medication through the NHS app. Last month Rightdose emailed to claim they had never received this prescription. I emailed back (3 times) and requested a callback almost every day for a week and I received no response. I ended up without medication. My partner messaged them on Facebook and he was told the email claiming they had no script was sent in error and he arranged for my meds to be sent out in a few days. I ended up without medication but nobody thought to communicate this mix up with me directly? My meds were only sent out because my partner advocated for me. Even though they made the mistake, were they just not going to send me my meds? Today I sit here without medication again! My prescription was sent to them nearly 3 weeks ago and my pouches were supposed to be delivered last week. I have messaged on Facebook (this seems to be the only way to get any response from them) and they have been reading and ignoring my messages for 4 days. I have requested a callback three separate times and I haven't received a single call back from them. I have also emailed several times a day, every day, for a week. Since I have been using Rightdose I have also had to rely on NHS 111 Emergency prescriptions. I have been accused by several healthcare professionals of abusing my meds when the reality is a company who only operate in delivering medications cannot carry out its only purpose. Being without these medications, because of Rightdose, on two separate occasions within two months I could've ended up experiencing a psychotic break resulting in hospitalisation. Do not trust this company with your medication if you value your physical and mental health. It is overwhelmingly evident that they do not care about their customers.

Review titled Sadly awful almost every month a new issue.
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Jaycee Lennox - Posted on 05 July 2023
I have been with rightdose for around 5 months. The 1st month they sent medication out but had a slip in it saying they couldn't get one (vital) medication and to go back to the drs for that. I was annoyed as they only deliver the day I need the meds, so I emailed them. Next day the missing meds arrived anyway. When they replied to my email they said it was teething trouble as it was an unusual drug and the 1st time. So I gave them the benefit of doubt. 2nd month was OK 3rd month i had moved house and emailed them with plenty of time explaining. They said no problem I've updated on the system it will arrive to your new house. Delivery day came and went. No meds, nothing. I emailed again then get a message that it will come out the next day but no reason or explanation. Next month. I didn't get their usual reminder to order my prescription and I forgot so didn't order 2 weeks early I did however get an email saying it wasn't ordered and therefore wouldn't come on time. It explained on that email that I could order today and it would be a week. Or get a local pharmacy this time and return next month. As the pouches are so much better for me I decided to do the later. I also had some medication to get me through the bulk of my meds thankfully but not all. Still, they said just a week. So I went to the drs office, spoke to the receptionist who sorted it with the pharmacist to send off the script straight away to rightdose. She did it in front of me. I emailed rightpouch back and said I'll do the week wait and see the prescription is ordered today. However it was around 4 or 5 days later I get another email saying sorry for the delay in replying it'll now be the following week Thursday before it will arrive! That's adding on more than another week! I replied annoyed and highlighted what they said prior. But asked them to deliver ASAP. ...their own deadline came and went. I emailed again They replied saying he had just found the reason to be some of my meds were out of stock. I'm yet to receive them yet but I'm told they will be here tomorrow. This evening I will research another company. Which I had seen these reviews first before signing up. Sadly they aren't reliable enough for delivering drugs you rely on.

Review titled Poor service

The telephone conversation I had with the staff should have told me what to expect. I found them really rude. I had to deal with their manager. First Pouch arrived minus two of five medications. Secondly,I was messaged that my next pouch was due whilst on holiday abroad. This was an error on their behalf. It wasn't due. Last message, the straw that broke the camels back. I was told the date was missed for my next delivery. I have now cancelled and gone back to ordering for myself. A complete waste of time.
