Having had to find a new pharmacy following the withdrawal of Lloyd’s pharmacy from the high street my wife and I eventually transferred our custom to Highfield Pharmacy earlier this year. So far we have been very impressed with the service we have received. The staff are polite and helpful. I appreciate getting a text message when my dispensed prescription is ready to collect. Very often this is within 24 hours of contacting our GP. This is much more rapid than we found when testing other local pharmacies. Overall this has been the best service from a local pharmacy that we have received in recent years. For example, I would like to illustrate the positive service received by the following example. Highfield Pharmacy is able to readily source a product that my wife is prescribed (and listed in BNF) that another pharmacy told us is no longer available after she had been waiting for over 3 months. The reality is that this other pharmacy was tied to using two wholesalers who no longer stocked this item for business reasons. Consequently, this third party “NHS branded” pharmacy would not source a product prescribed by an NHS clinic and NHS GP as their business practices prevented them procuring the product.

The support team have been very supportive, regularly checking in and helping me find the best options. Their human support, along with the nicotine products, made all the difference. I managed to quit completely within a month. Thanks!

I recently visited this pharmacy as a one off and the service provided was exceptional. The staff were very polite and spent time helping me. I would definitely recommend this place and will be going there again in the future.

Highfield Pharmacy has consistently provided exceptional service. I recently visit the pharmacy to collect my daughter`s medication and the service was very friendly and quick. The staff seems to be very knowledgeable and answered to my queries in detail. Highly recommend!

I met a man/worker there, who was not only defensive but rude. Incredibly poor manner and terrible service.

I have used the pharmacy for about a year plus. There is no notification for when your meds are ready for collection. When I visit to ask for my prescription I usually have to wait for it to be prepared and vetted. However, I notice when I visit that some people arrive and their prescription is ready. I visited today and asked if they could have my prescription ready for when I return in about an hour. On return, my meds where ready in a tray but had to be signed off by the Pharmacist who was in the consulting room and I therefore, had to wait until he was finished. which was annoying as I missed an appointment I had made. The excuse I received, we have been busy, was not good enough as they would have had to make up my meds there and then had I stayed earlier. A very inefficient set up as they appear to have no system in place.
