I moved doctors surgery a couple of months ago and changed nominated pharmacy. I put in my repeat prescription with plenty of time, over a week before my current meds ran out. Went to pick it up today and they said there was no record of it, showed them it on the nhs app and suddenly they found it! I was then informed that I hadn’t told them that they were my nominated pharmacy and even though they had had the prescription for 4 days they wouldn’t get the meds for another 3 days! When I said that they’d had my prescription for a while and I was going to need my meds earlier I was met with a shrug and told it was my fault and nothing they could do. The customer service was non existent and the attitude of staff was terrible.

I called in today ( 23/09/2022) with my wife who was collecting her prescription. The service and ladies, were first class, polite, efficient and friendly. While I was waiting one of the ladies offered to do my flu jab which saved me queuing at a packed doctors surgery on a Saturday morning in October. The young lady who gave me the flu vaccine was brilliant and my wife and I were so impressed with the staff and service that we have decided to change from our regular pharmacist at Cornlands road to the Gale Farm pharmacist.
