I have changed my chemist even though Cohens is on my doorstep. They obviously take on far far too many customers and clearly can’t cope. Went for a friend today to pick up a prescription that she couldn’t wait for yesterday only to be waiting again. There is absolutely no sign of any system in place. And as another reviewer said, what kind of chemist closes on a Saturday!

Currently the branch is short staffed and this is impacting the level of service being currently received by our customers for we sincerely apologise. We are working hard with the field team to support the team during this time. Service has improved significantly since last year. There now appears to be an increase in staff numbers and a new manager. Prescription ready 3 days after ordering and I receive texts when prescription ready for collection. Storage / allocation system is much more efficient. Collected medication today and also had my flu jab with very little waiting time.

First time using this chemist and the pharmacist got my prescription wrong twice. One item missing from prescription and a double dose of another drug. Returned all the items to the chemist and told them that there was a mistake, I was told that I was wrong or the doctor who sent the prescription had made a mistake. Upon further investigation the pharmacist admitted that it was her fault for the omission and was sorry for the mistake. When I got home and checked the contents I found that the double dose was still in the bag, so instead of 28 tablets as prescribed by the doctor I had 56 tablets.

Firstly the staff attitude is appalling. When answering the phone they never say hello, who they are or a simple how can I help you ? Just answer with 'Cohens' Today when I queried why I'd been waiting 7 days for a prescription to be processed, which still wasn't ready, I was met with a barrage of excuses ' we are a very busy chemist' ' we've had a lot of staff leaving so we are short staffed ' and was lastly told ' if you aren't happy go somewhere else, which is exactly what I've done today, I've changed the chemist ! This is a monthly occurrence and not a one off. Waiting for over 7, sometimes 10 days, to process a prescription, which is a regular monthly medication order. We have a home delivery set up as prescription is for a very elderly, severely disabled woman of 90. For the past 3 months we have had to contact 111 to arrange a prescription as medication has not been delivered as promised and has run out. I'm told I should be phoning them to check on the prescription, surely I shouldn't need to do this if I'm making a request 10 days in advance ! Given the appalling service I would at least expect an apology when questioning why its taken so long to process a medication request, instead I'm faced with rude, defensive staff complaining how short staffed they are.

Fed up of being told my prescription is incomplete.Order once every 3 months and leave a minimum of one week before collection. Latest ordered 20th October and collected 1st November. Also told I should have called branch to check the prescription was complete..Terrible service as prescription had to be made up when I collected. Pathetic service from this branch considering the branch has many staff.
