Review titled Brilliant Service with genuine care!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Neena - Posted on 12 September 2024
I was seen by the pharmacist she was amazing, gave me time made sure I got the best medication. She went the extra mile saying let's get your blood pressure checked to make sure I was ok. Then the trainee pharmacist did my blood pressure but then he also explained things to me. He was also brilliant. Person-centred care is what I got! Thank you!

Review titled Extremely poor alternative to clogging up GP lists
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 23 June 2023
If I could give less than one star, I really would. Has gone down remarkably since the previous, lovely, helpful, concerned head pharmacist moved on. The current pharmacist seems to be annoyed that the government is producing advertisements, stating that patients should try and reduce the necessity to go to clog up already brimming over GP slots, and utilise their local pharmacy. When I am clearly and slowly reporting the health of an 85-year-old man, who has gone out, and bought the expensive over-the-counter meds that were recommended as the best, but still you patronise and make out as if his daughter is wasting your very important time...You clearly did not receive the memo. Not at all person-centred, rude, patronising, condescending, and it is quite clear they would prefer to be in the back, with the medicines, as opposed to a polite, concerned member of the public, whom - as I explained - was experiencing a great negative impact on his health, due to a medical issue. I changed this pharmacy for taking up my lifelong prescriptions for serious medical issues, as there is more than one not-very-helpful staff member. While we know health services are struggling, this is no excuse for a shoddy attitude. Shan't go back there for pharmacy services. Other people have told me this person does not encourage them to use their pharmacy as a first point of call for more minor issues, before attending their GP and overloading an already very, very stretched service. A very poor show. I was made to feel small and uneducated as if I was wasting the pharmacist's time - in fact, I am not, and it was my time being wasted. A phone call to my father's GP, tomorrow, is definitely necessary. What used to be a fantastic pharmacy for all members of the family is now something of a joke. Training is needed for all.
