  1. Review titled Extremely poor service

Rated 1 star out of 5

I arrived at Lancaster Asda Pharmacy 30mins before the closing time that was displayed on a typed sign stating it would close from 5-6pm. There were 6 people in front of me. At a couple of minutes to 5 the Pharmacist switched off the lights and by this time I was at the front of the queue. I attempted to handover the prescription for 92 year old fathers medication that we had just received after an appointment with the dr at 4pm and he refused to serve me and said I should go to another pharmacy that stayed open late. There were about 6 more people behind me in queue, I didn’t wait around to see what happened but I presume they were turned away as well. There was only one assistant serving customers and the whole process was extremely slow and seemed to lack any organisation. I suggest that the system is overhauled to meet the customers needs. I will not be returning here again.

  2. Review titled Awful pharmacy

Rated 1 star out of 5

Asda pharmacy Lancaster is the only pharmacist open after 7pm in the area. I took my 2 year old to see the pharmacist because I suspect he has impetigo, as recommended! The pharmacist advised me he would be 10-15 mins and to come back. We went into the store to grab a few bits and went back 25 mins later. I waited in the que again and still he was not available! The pharmacist said to me he was too busy to see him as he doesn’t have any other dispensing staff on! I only wanted him to advise if we could get some treatment otc or if we need to make a doctors appointment! They told me I could alway ring 111! Chances are 111 would tell me to see a pharmacist! I’m appalled at this! If you have no staff to operate fully then close! Formal complaint will be sent also as refusing to see a child none the less is disgusting behaviour!
