It was totally unorganised and completely unclear as to where to go for pre-booked vaccinations, with a total lack of any signage to indicate where people needed to go or wait; I got sent back and forth for 20 mins before I could finally go through for my vaccination and everything just seemed unorganised - both people I spoke to were rude, awkward and as unhelpful as they could possibly be.

Yesterday evening I contacted A R Pharmacy on one of their enquiry forms. I was not expecting an answer for a day or so but, amazingly, a gentleman (in the the complete sense) responded. I cannot name him due to the review conditions, however, he was, truly, so very helpful over the next few hours. He gave me sensible and sound answers. I cannot describe my astonishment that someone would be so dedicated in these somewhat harsh and difficult times? However, this is also a tribute to the A R Pharmacy. This pharmacy is superlative! I have been using it for over 30 years now, since moving to the nearby surgery. They have always given excellent service and their staff are efficient but approachable. During the pandemic this pharmacy had come into its own ... developing into our vaccination clinic and working with the surgery to keep us all safe. However, their pharmacists have always been on hand to give reliable assistance. The 'backroom folk' who are the engine room of the pharmacy! In addition to all of, this they have (for many years) been running an invaluable delivery service of medication in conjunction with the surgery. I cannot praise enough all of the people concerned in this. My husband and I are house bound, as he has dementia, and I could not function without this service. Their delivery staff are so kind, caring and helpful. Returning to my experience of yesterday evening, my question were answered efficiently and succinctly by the pharmacist concerned, which enabled me to make an informed judgement. My deepest and most sincere thanks to this dedicated man and to A R Pharmacy for setting up shop in our area. Gold Star to all 🌟 !!
