Review titled Deteriorated since 2022

Took my mum who is in a wheel chair. Not as good this year as last. We weren’t aware that the carpark was for blue badge holders only . Luckily we had one but many with clearly disabled people didn’t which caused some upset. A couple of staff were rude. There was nobody showing us where to exit. We found the door leading to a steep ramp and the pavement back to the car was really not suitable for wheelchairs. Really not as good as last year . This was at horsley wood house church.

Many thanks for the feedback. We value all shared views and we are sorry that the experience did not mirror how it had been delivered in the previous year. In particular, I am sorry to learn of any rude behaviour and it is fair to say that this is falls below our expectation of patient centred care. I will liaise with the team and look to review our processes and share ways we can make it better for all. The site has been particular busier this vaccination period than most and has been made tougher by the limited sites open to offer the vaccination service. We have been run on volunteers and I know that team do an amazing job at managing the workload, pressures, people expectations and ensure we provide care. We are always looking for more volunteers to help make the process more manageable and ensure that we continue to be proud of the community spirit that has been created, which has allowed us to vaccinate and protect people since the vaccination process has started. We will continue to evolve and we truly appreciate the feedback. Kind Regards, Bal (Clinical Site Lead)
