I have just had my second cataract removed at Spa Mesica in Southampton (Eastleigh) Very good communication and friendly service. The system worked very well and friendly surgeon! The arrangements for transport - I would recommend trying one's own transport with someone. Spa Medica do have a problem for arrangeing transport but not their problem.

This was my second cataract op. And again very impressed by the whole process. Efficient, good at explaining what was going to happen and in and out in less than 2.30 hours. Well done.

I was dealt with at Spa Medica Bolton with courtesy from the start of the procedure. The appointment was quickly received after the referral from my optician. All the professionals involved were polite and I was told what was happening every step of the way. The surgeon explained what to expect and as the surgery took place I was asked if all was well. After the procedure the nurse gave me drops and told me about after care. The second cataract was operated on after my check up at the opticians and once again it went smoothly. I would definitely recommend Spa Medica, Bolton.

Cheerful and welcoming staff. Focus on patient care. I wish all NHS services were of this quality. Surgeon's skill was excellent. Other medical staff obviously trained to be multi-tasking.

Arrived for cataract surgery was quite nervous but explained everything through and was put at ease. All staff were amazing very friendly and at every stage was talked through what was going to happpen. Was told all about after care and what to do could not fault experience in any way. Not so worried know about having other eye done.

Very helpful skilled staff made to feel at ease straight away operation was explained every step of the way very professional surgeon & theatre staff whole experience was calming & comfortable, will definitely have my next Cararact Op with Spamedica..

I had my second cataract operation on Saturday I am most impressed with the speed and efficiency of the whole procedure from two excellent surgeons and their team to all the staff. Well done.
