Thank you for your feedback. We are committed to delivering the highest quality and speed of care. Recently, we identified a small number of patients who had a delay in their correspondence. Every case was clinically reviewed, and we're pleased to say that no clinically adverse outcomes were identified. We have already put in processes in place to prevent a repeat of this delay for our patient. We do acknowledge that in this case, we fell short of the standards we have set ourselves, and the expectations that the patients like you have from our service. We apologise for any frustration or inconvenience you may have experienced, and once again, thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. If you would like to discuss these issues, we would be grateful if you could please contact us on 08000 112 113 (between 8am and 6pm) or by email at feedback@medefer.com. We will arrange a member of our team to contact you. They will work with you to understand the specific issues you are facing and will take the necessary steps to resolve them as quickly as possible.

Review titled very poor service
Rated 1 star out of 5

Referred to Medefer by Trust to get me off waiting list March 22. Filled in an online questionnaire when the link eventually worked. Found it very difficult to contact company a web chat took two days. Phone impossible to get through. Nov 22 letter sent saying referred April 22 and now discharged back to GP and suggested a change in medication even though I have not even spoken to the consultant about my symptoms or diagnosed condition. Diagnosis from a questionnaire!? Thank goodness for the NHS Consultant Nurse that I have contact with, as they are sorting it out for me. Now back on waiting list to see NHS Consultant.

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to bring your concerns to our attention. We are so sorry you were unable to get through to us. We have escalated this and are looking into what may have caused this to happen. The information you provided by completing this questionnaire is combined with your GP referral letter and all the information sent to us by your GP which is then reviewed by your consultant specialist. The questionnaire's purpose is to provide your specialist consultant with an update of your symptoms. You are not being diagnosed based on this questionnaire. If you need more information or you think the above explanation is not clear enough, we would be grateful if you could please contact a member of our Patient Care Team on 08000 112 113 or by email at admin.medefer@nhs.net, any time between 8am and 6pm, Monday-Friday. Kind regards, The Medefer Patient Experience Team
