Review titled Pretty useless
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Helen - Posted on 08 February 2023
After completing online assessment, and online questionnaire, I was contacted by phone for a consultation with physio. More questions and told I would be sent exercises via email to do before going to an exercise class. The class was booked, but I am still waiting for emailed exercises. I contacted Connect Health asking them where these exercises I am supposed to be doing are. Their reply was that they would get back to me in 48 hours. Well I am still waiting. No wonder the NHS is in so much trouble when companies like this are taking money for doing very little. Still in pain with no sign of exercises.

Review titled Poor service
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by MR D J COWAN - Posted on 21 February 2023
As per instructions waited the 1 hour window 30 mins either side of my 1100 appointment for my telephone review by physiotherapist to no avail. Voice mail then left at 1143 by physio and again 1 min later (my mobile was beside me did not ring and went straight to voice mail due to unrecognised number).(now changed on phone). Tried to call physio back on their number but unable so called Connect Health direct, on speaking to call taker informed nothing they could do as I had missed my appointment. When asked if they could request physio to call again or call home number was refused. Considering they had call 40+ minutes after the appointment time I think it is very poor practice to lay the blame and only offer an appointment for mid March.

Review titled Extremely bad practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Helen Camden London - Posted on 14 February 2023
Left a on 8th Feb and got a reply telling me to contact Connect Health chat email and they would investigate the complaint and Get back to me. I did this giving details as requested, yet still haven't received a reply. Judging by the number of negative reviews about this company, it looks like the only practice they seem good at is ignoring emails and complaints and charging the NHS for on line and phone assessments and consultations but no face to face work. How can someone assess a problem with an individual without seeing them. I was even asked if I had googled my symptoms. I could do this and find some exercises, but not being medically trained or not having a proper diagnosis for my problem, I could be doing more harm than good. I think this whole organisation is shambolic and should not be funded by the NHS.

Review titled Disappointing Service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 18 January 2023
I am not the sort of person who leaves reviews but am disappointed with the "service" offered by this company. I was referred by my hospital to this company. Having not heard from them re an appointment I contacted the email address they give on this page. The bounceback reply says they will reply within 48 hours. It is now a week since I emailed them and I have heard nothing. The website is difficult to use too and there are no physio exercises on it either. I have resorted to using YouTube and googling physio exercises on other hospital websites - not ideal given they may not be suitable for me. It is very disappointing given my hospital treatment was outstanding.

Review titled Chronic pain and mental health review
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Emily Brown - Posted on 20 January 2023
Rated 5 out of 5 stars I can't thank this service enough, they have gone down every avenue to ensure the treatment is correct for me and if it isn't they are willing to find ways to correct this, also I understand they can't wave a magic wand and make me better but without this service I would have given up hope and care mentally and physically. Appointments are nearly always made for the next time on the day of the current appointment, they listen and they write it all down. I think most people giving up right now would benifit this service because it gives us hope and a sense of achievement towards feeling that little bit better. thankyou Date of experience: 19 January 2023

Review titled The worst experience ever Basildon/Brentwood
Rated 1 star out of 5

I would not call this service 'connect but rather disjointed. I've been patiently trying to collaborate with the physio for more than two years. I was sent from one person to another, from one department to another, never saw the Consultant and was seen three times face to face by the physiotherapists. I have experienced there lack of competence, lack of compassion or courage, extremely poor communication skills that put more vulnerable people at risks. This includes the pain management clinic working along with the physiotherapist. I struggle to accept the sarcastic comments I have received about my health and was left with a lack of hope. The all experience left me feeling let down, upset and demoralised by the services.

Review titled Connect Health is another layer in the NHS
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Phillip Marsh - Posted on 22 May 2023
Only a few years back the GP would send you direct to the surgeon, physio or for a scan. Now they refer you to Connect Health, this means everything takes longer. The NHS needs to streamline itself, Connect Health is a delay to getting better. Not a good idea.

Review titled Awful incompetent and not able to listen to people
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 25 November 2022
After reading reviews of this company on my first contact with them I was given a run around, they take over 30 mins to answer, when as I have the right to I asked they never contact me again as I would like a service local to me not a few hrs driving away they continued to send me appointments I could not attend. After speaking to them asking again for my information to be deleted as I had not trust in this incompetent company continue to email me on how did we do. Advoid at all costs they are awful
