    Excellent reception nursing staff and superb consultant. I was made to feel comfortable and a human being. I would recommend to anyone

    My husband had his hip replaced a year ago and then a total knee replacement in December 2022. The hip was private and the knee under the nhs, the treatment was fantastic, and no different for both! The staff are really attentive and friendly, the aftercare is 5 star. I cannot recommend the Winfield highly enough, thank you for your care and support.

    I made an enquiry to seeing a heart consultant. I was given a price for my appointment. I have paid my invoice directly with the consultant for this appointment as this was what was discussed. Today (February) I have received another invoice for ‘Physiological Measurement’. I had no idea what this meant and it was never discussed by anyone I spoke to at the Winfield Hospital including the consultant. Today I have spoken to the finance department and the lady had no idea what the invoice was about. She found out and called me back. The charge which wasn’t discussed at any time was for my blood pressure, height and weight to be taken. Be careful what you have done at this hospital and make sure you get the correct price if you are self funding! I have used this hospital for years as a self funding patient and never experienced this. Needless to say I won’t be using this hospital again.
