My mum came for an appointment regarding hip replacement, December 2022 she was offered an injection to help during the waiting time. This took place. When she next saw the consultant in May she had deteriorated, and told she had been missed from the list, 6 months of waiting not even on a list appalling! Now July 2024 and still not had operation even though requires mobility scooter to get about. No apology for missed from list and very unhelpful staff when we phone to ask how long she will wait. Living in pain all the time has taken its toll on mums mental health and yet no one appears to care. A very unhappy family with care and support given.

From the caring receptionist to the lovely, thoughtful and compassionate student nurses, nurses and x-ray team my experience after very badly injuring my ankle at 7 am was wonderful. Between 8 am and 10.15 whilst I was there this incredible team could not have been more professional or caring. Not only care but lovely humour when they asked how I had damaged myself so early, an offer of placing my bag of frozen peas in the freezer so they didn't spoil, what exceptional staff, working extremely hard with a lot of patients needing health care treatment.

Visited Westmorland General to have a tick removed and I received fantastic service and the staff were so friendly. A great asset to Kendal and the area.

I had a procedure done in the cardiac centre and was impressed by all who dealt with me. Very friendly and professional. Keep up the good work!

I was unable to attend an appointment due to ill health. I phoned and left a voice message and i then receive a letter to say i did not attend the appointment. I have phoned umpteen times to confirm i did leave a voicemail. and today the phone line goes dead after 30 secs. I too work in a hospital and i find this is a very disappointing service.
