    I was taken I’ll when on a work trip to Alnwick. I was very anxious about attending an Urgent Treatment Centre as I was concerned about long waiting times. I needn’t have worried. I was in and out, after being seen by a Nurse Practitioner and prescribed antibiotics for an infection in a salivary gland, in less than hour. Staff were lovely and the treatment worked. Thank you.

    We visited Wansbeck walk in centre on a Saturday evening with my son who had hurt his foot. We were seen within less than half an hour by a lovely nurse and sent promptly for an x ray. Everything was explained clearly and they took great care of my son who was in a lot of pain. The whole trip lasted less than an hour before we were on our way home. We were given comprehensive after care advice before we left. The staff were all so kind and helpful. Keep up the great work!. Thankyou.

    Just visited day surguery unit, my first surgery. I was nervous. It was well organised from the waiting room to be shown to beds to all personnel I interacted with. Everyone made me feel at ease and were just dead canny. All staff I interacted with were just open and lovely to talk with while being efficient and professional, my nurses, surgeon, anesthetist, student nurses, stats checkers just everyone. Honestly, thank you so much for all your work and the manner in which you deliver your work is just commendable.

    I found the Consultant I spoke to very unhelpful and dismissive. The appointment lasted about 1 minute as the consultant needed to be somewhere else. Disappointing as I waited 6-months for that appointment.

    Had a total hip replacement this week ,should have been at another hospital but it was full. I had no experience of this hospital before but would now recommend it to anyone. Everyone I encountered was totally professional and so helpful from the surgeon to all encountered in theatre and recovery , the nurses on ward ten and all other staff helpers catering staff and cleaners. Everyone explained what was going on at all points in treatment and the physiotherapists were very helpful . Everyone was cheerful and smiling in spite of all the pressure they must all have been in over the last few years and made my stay as pleasant as it possibly could have been . Finally I would also like to thank the ambulance staff who got me back and forwards when I was unable to get into a car. I wish everyone at this hospital all the best , you are wonderful people

    I attended this hospital for the first time due to a lump on the side of my knee, which required an ultrasound scan to determine what was causing the problem. The staff were so helpful and informative and made my visit to this spotlessly clean hospital a real pleasure. The staff members carrying out the soft tissue scan were so friendly yet very professional in their approach to the brilliant service they provide. The people of Ashington and the catchment area of this brilliant facility are very lucky to have such a wonderful hospital on their doorstep. Thank god for the NHS and the many thousands of staff members that look after all of us, three hundred and sixty five days and nights of the year.

    From admission to discharge my care was outstanding; welcome reassurance from the anaesthetist, a skilled and kind surgeon, helpful nurses, supportive physiotherapists. And behind them an efficient theatre/recovery team and administration staff. Can't fault anything. Thank you.

    Following my previous complaint about my wife's uninformed last cancellation in October (which remains unresolved), she rang the hospital today to confirm today's appointment only to be told that they had no record of it despite her having an appointment card. The hospital phoned later to confirm that it had been cancelled for reasons unknown. No one had advised her accordingly. What is going on?
