    I was sent to this hospital by my gp for stomach pain yellow stools and acid reflux they just did an upper endoscopy they didn't check liver kidneys or gallbladder after the endoscopy the doctor told me I have a big hiatus hernia and mild gastritis I said to him what about the yellow stools he said that was something different but he refused to look into it then he told me that the pain on the left side of my stomach and the pain on my left Kidney was because my acid reflux he said that I had to take medication but I cannot take any of the prazol family omeprazol esomeprasol etc. They give me bad side effects, very intense stomach pain back pain knees pain and very itchy skin he said that j needed to take h2 blockers like femotidine to see if they work<they don't work>and he said I needed to do a 24 hours pH manometry but they don't have that service in the hospital he sent me to my GPS again I tried femotidine and nizatidine and they just work for a few hours and my GP gave me a referral for Hamerton hospital to do the 24 hours pH and they say do not have appointments i am still waiting since may 19 living in misery every day I have to work in pain taking antiacids and sodium bicarbonate in large amounts to stop the acid and they don't even work properly and sleeping at night is another problem what kind of hospital leave a patient suffering like this? I have now a big inflammation in one side if my throat I don't know if this is has to do something with the acid I don't recommend this hospital

    Had CT scan 20th February still waiting for results! To my understanding this is a private hospital, never waited this long for similar results from NHS absolutely terrible service. My mental health is in tatters waiting and not knowing my results.

    I been for consultation about my back pain on 23/02/2024. It was agreed that I will wait in the queue for steroid injection. I was informed that waiting list is about 2 months. Since my last visit there no any updates my situation. I been calling numerous times. Nobody giving me any answers. I just constantly transfered to automated phone line where I left so many messages, but nobody called back. I sent even few emails asking if I am even in the queue, but reply still now. Absolutely awful service. I don't know when I will get injection, and I am not sure even if they put me in the waiting list. No communication, can't reach real person to talk to. Left in unknown. My condition is getting worse and I can't even reach somebody to ask if I am even in the waiting list. This service is absolutely not acceptable. Do not recommend this hospital to anyone.

    I have tried to call this hospital numerous numerous times over the last 3 months, no one answers the phone, its very frustrating, how are we meant to communicate? I have sent emails but get generic replies. How are you meant to actually speak with a person and arrange an appointment???

    I had an Appointmet with a Gynocologist with this hospital in December 2023 . The gynecologist give me a paper for scan and blood test . When I went to book them they took the papers from me and they told me they will send me the appointments . After one month I tried to contact them via phone . Their phone lines do not work . I attended the hospital after waiting for one hour they told me that they have lost all the papers in regards to the scan . They will call me next day as they need to get them from the doctor again . They never called me and I am now worried if they can not even mange my scan date , how can I trust them and go under treatment with this department . This hospital has no organisation they have no computer system to store information . They still use hard copy papers to arrange scans and they do not have enough staff to deal with phone calls . It’s very surprising that they have made this pretty hospital with no gear to run it . If you are private patient please consider your other options as I have had many experiences with different hospitals and nothing like this . I think the people who mange this hospital should really think about the infrastructure of this hospital not just a pretty floors and walls .

    I can fault the treatment + care my Dad has received when I have taken him to his many, many appointments. However, trying to telephone the hospital borders on ridiculous! I have tried lots of times to make enquiries or change appointments but can never get through. I have left several messages on the answer machine but have never had a response.

    My son saw an ENT person today. I flew in from overseas because I’m concerned about his symptoms. Both him and his friend arrived home in a state of disbelief after the visit. Little concern, discussion, results were discussed apart from further balance tests and a ‘ go see your GP’. A short consultation -an in and out - is insufficient for someone who has had symptoms for 3 weeks which inevitably leads medical doctors to go through a process of elimination. This, 3-minute consultation was unacceptable. The unprofessional, uncaring attitude has resulted in a person who relies on medical expertise unable to trust them. Patients deserve better. You don’t deserve patients.

    I had an appointment with the NHS outpatient service 2 months ago. The doctor - for the first time - actually listened to what I had to say and noted me down to be scheduled for surgery. I was very happy. However, I have since not received a letter or call for the appointment. I cannot get through to a human being with NHS at the hospital, there is only an answering machine and no one ever calls back. This is just no service at all, there should be a way to actually contact people and get information.

    Please stay clear of this hospital if you need a gynaecologic appointment! Was called in from the waiting room by a doctor who asked me go through all of my symptoms while he stared at my notes. He then laughed and stressed that he would 'love' to try and help me but that he unfortunately is not a gynaecologist and that I had been on his list through an admin error. He found this very funny and kept repeating how much he would 'love' to deal with my issues if he could. It was uncomfortable. Once I was seen by the correct person and was unlocking my bike outside the same doctor came out and approached me again to repeat how much he would have 'loved' to be able to help me whilst giggling. It was obvious what he meant and it was very uncomfortable. After this I went through all the blood work and scans with the actual gynaecologist who in the end didn't send my results to my gp and discharged me. Only for me to have to do it all over again at a different hospital and to find that there is something that needs attention and treatment. Prior to this the hospital called me at 9pm the night before my morning appointment to cancel claiming that the doctor was 'still on holiday'. Said they would call to re-book but never did. Will obviously never be going back.

    Can never seem to get through on the phone, when you finally do get put through to imaging there's no answer, leave a answerphone message to call back and they never do
