  1. Review titled Excellent hospital

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Rosie - Posted on 05 September 2023

I would just like to say thank you to the radiotherapy department they know who they are and to my special doctor she knows who she is as I cannot mention names on here. They have been absolutely amazing. They have actually saved my life and I could not be anymore grateful than what I am now. Going through cancer treatment was mentally and somewhat physically draining but the staff were absolutely amazing. Got the all clear today so I cannot be anymore happier than I am right now. I feel like you have gave me my life back. Always remember that you are truly amazing and we appreciate you so much.

  3. Review titled Never got my results

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 16 August 2023

Went for my yearly mammogram on the 18th July and never heard back despite being told it would take around 2 to 3 weeks max. I had to go back for biopsies twice in the previous years and the wait is very stressful. I left messages on the nurse number shared by reception and never heard back.

  4. Review titled Prostate Cancer Back Pain Health

by Daddy Frisky - Posted on 05 October 2023

I have been diagnosed with back pain years ago, however this pain has never left me, but has increased badly, it has taken different steps to the degrees of other elements of discomforts, through the dice, pain alongside the legs, numbness, further aspect took place during the Covid-19 in which, after running 40min, at such particular point I couldn't walk well without pain, this pain was around my hip and core area, I engaged spasms where the body would shake within certain position. Bartholomew Hospital wrote to me this year in reference of bowel cancer test at Whipscross Hospital, I was diagnosed with having cancer. I have take the operation and await the results which I sincerely trust would favors my recovery, within this ongoing I am still waiting a hip and Hernia operation at Homerton University Hospital. Trying to stay positively to my health and the outcome, other aspect has been emotional and health issues which I must deal with within my space. The important aspect is the cancer and the operation which has to be priority to marking further steps forward,

  7. Review titled Great Team!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Debra Kaylor - Posted on 26 March 2023

I cannot speak highly enough about the care I recieved during my stay at Barts on the cardiology wards. I suffered an heart attack and was then found to have kidney damage. The team put me at ease and the care was amazing! I had my angiogram 14 days after my heart attack, as it was delayed due to the kidney damage and I cannot than them enough. Such an amazing team of kind and caring professionals that just don't stop working! Nothing is too much trouble for them and they all walk around smiling! I really cannot thank them enough! Brilliant hospital.

  8. Review titled Quick & helpful service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended the drop-in x-ray service, expecting a long wait. I was pleasantly surprised to be seen within minutes. Staff were pleasant, helpful, and, most importantly, deaf-aware. I would recommend this service.

  9. Review titled No resolution

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 03 January 2023

My time here was quick, maybe due to no patients. During my time I felt I was rushed so doctors could get out the door. No resolution to my health, just many possibilities of what it could be. So I still do not know my condition and I feel I wasn’t believed.

  10. Review titled Compassion Fatigue

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 06 November 2022

I have attended Paget ward for chemotherapy throughout this year 2022 and I continue to attend. I am very ill and my cancer is terminal. Sadly I have found the nursing staff of Paget to be without compassion and perhaps fatigued by this. Paget is run like a chemotherapy factory. There is no time for questions or discussion, no reassurance and more often than not patients wait over 1 and half hours for treatment without explanation or apology. This ward is on over load and whilst the administration of chemotherapy is accurate the environment itself is depressing and staff unhelpful.
