  1. Review titled Minor Injuries Clinic - Fantastic Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Nick - Posted on 14 February 2023

Whilst on holiday in the area my father had a cardiac issue and I took him to the minor injuries clinic to be assessed. As soon as we had explained the position to the receptionist my father was whisked in to the assessment area. He was connected to an ECG and given a thorough examination. My mother was allowed to remain with him at all times. All the staff were so polite, efficient and caring. The nurse/medic who was involved with my fathers care came out regularly to update me on progress and my fathers condition. In the end my father had to be transferred to Truro hospital and the nurse/medic wrote out the address and drew a map of Truro hospital to show where to park and where the A&E entrance was. I am so grateful for all their care and considreation. Nick

  2. Review titled Professional, empathetic and efficient service.

by Happy green eyes - Posted on 23 January 2023

Attended St Austell MIU for an injury to my eye Received excellent diagnosis and primary care. A follow up appointment was arranged at the main hospital eye unit at Truro, where I received excellent care from Louisa and the team. I was in and out in 15 minutes. The object painlessly removed from my eye. Professional, empathetic and efficient service.

Fantastic and swift care today from all the staff. Every single member of staff did a brilliant job of keeping her pain free and helping to get it sorted. We were really impressed with how quickly we were seen and the treatment she received. Thank you for everything you guys do and for service with a smile. Thank you

I found the triage nurse extremely rude, obviously didn’t want to be there and was completely uncaring towards my daughter.
